Some people are just so rude!!! Wish there were more good people around!!!

I had left my wallet in a basket once by accident. We left the store and i noticed so my dad brought me back to the store. We were looking everywhere. I saw it in a lady's basket and she put something on it. I yelled at her and took it back because she claimed she didn't see it. But it was a big betty boop wallet you couldn't miss it.

I accidentally left my purse in a shopping cart and was almost home before I noticed. My SO raced me back to the store and thankfully my purse was there. He said to check for my phone and it wasn’t there. My stomach immediately churned and my anxiety sky rocked. I didn’t have a password on my phone and all I could think about was someone looking at my personal pictures, able to get on my social media apps and every other personal information on my phone. It wasn’t there and after all the times he told me to put a password on it, I still never did it. I cried thinking of all the pictures I lost and someone seeing everything, but long story short it was actually in my dds bathroom. Somewhere I never put it, so my dd must of ran off with it earlier that day because she loves taking pictures with my phone.

I know how bad your feeling Op! I hope you are able to retrieve your phone and have all your pictures still there. I hate thieves.

That’s what I’m saying you guys!! It’s just a crappy thing to do to a person. For what maybe a few hundred bucks?!? Terrible people out there!!

i once found a phone at the mall, i took it and called the person to come pick it up! my husband told me to leave it where it is & i told him it might get in the wrong hands! she was very excited.. i expect someone to do the same if i ever lost my phone

Exactly. Treat others how you’d like to be treated. At least it made for a good life lesson for your kids, and I’m sure that karma will get that jerk back.

Yea @dee I was having my husband text the person all day and I was texting from the iPad. It’s just so shatty!! Wish there were more decent people in the world!! I’d never take anything that wasn’t mine. I did teach my kids about it today. So they learned a lesson as well!! That some people are just crappy and we are never to be like that. Instead we will look out for our fellow man/woman

My MIL saw that someone left their phone on a bench at the mall, and instead of telling the person she took it. ? then called my DH asking him if he could unlock the phone. Yeah right lady. We turned it on so that the people could use the find my iPhone ?? they showed up at her house.

Like why do that to someone? So many personal, and sentimental things could be there.

& PS: yes my MIL is an a**. Reason 729 of why I don’t like her.

@aty no I don’t use a passcode. My husband had drilled into my head that I need a passcode!! Lesson learned. I will have a passcode on my next phone and this one currently. In about 20 years of having a phone this is the first that’s been lost and stolen

I’m sorry op! That happened to me on my honeymoon in Mexico. We had insurance too but it wasn’t backed up so I lost all of our honeymoon pictures. I’m glad your husband was able to get the information off.

Oh i know the feeling. I've had my phone stollen, looked through, pictures I had sent to numbers. Shat sucks.

Well atleast they won't be able to use it ever then. Their account will lock up since it's reported stollen.

@gun we have Verizon my husband did that about 15mins after I realized it was gone. But it still makes me angry that it’s possible the person went through my phone in that time

I think if you have att you can lock and erase your phone remotely so that the person can't get any of your information.

Yea I’m thinking the phone is gone!!! Luckily I had insurance on the phone so I didn’t have to buy a whole new phone. But it was still 200 bucks for a new one!! It really does suck that people are shatty!!!

Yes pp we’ve done all that. I filed a police report with the id number and the carrier also knows it was stolen!!

I'm sorry. Have you seen if your phone carrier can lock the phone so they won't be able to connect it to any carrier? & If someone were to take it in it will show up stolen so even a pawn shop wouldn't want it

Ugh pp I know!! And I consider myself a nice kind person. So it just really upsets me that some random person could have all my pictures of my children and my person info. I don’t care about the phone it’s the stuff on the phone ya know?!

Sadly kind people are hard to find. Now days if you drop even a penny don't expect to get it back .
