Does your SO ever notice?!?
Does your SO/DH notice when u do things around the house?!?! I ask because I dropped the kids off at school this am then spent about 3 of my 4 free hours cleaning the entire downstairs. Living room, dining room, powder room and kitchen. Like scrubbed counters, toilets moved couches vacuumed and mopped everything. My house was sparkling clean when he got home and didn't even notice!!! Like wtf I just spent hours cleaning u would think he would at least notice but no wha wha he didn't!!!
He notices everything. I came home for lunch today and while I was home I did the dishes (just a few that I didn't wash after dinner last night). He sent me a text as soon as he got home thanking me for doing the dishes. Our marriage isn't perfect, but we both do a good job at acknowledging the work the other does.
Yea my house is usually pretty clean. But most days there's toys scattered everywhere lol. He said he did notice but I don't believe him. I think he just said that to make me feel better lol. But after I mentioned something he said wow it looks really good in here. Again I think he was just trying to be nice because I worked my butt off cleaning. My kids were in school. They only go for 4 hours. So I dropped them off at 9m went grocery shopping. Trying to meal prep for the rest of the week then spent about 3 hours cleaning. Then I got to sit down and eat a peaceful lunch in front of the tv. Had to watch teen mom from last night lol. Then picked up the boys from school. Like I said before my husband hardly lifts a finger at home except for playing with the boys, making dinner some nights and occasionally helps clean up the toys after the boys are in bed!!! I really can't complain he's a great husband and father!!!
Thankfully, yes. Although, for the past 6 months my house has been in a disaster state due to a terminally ill dog (passed away a few months ago) and then a water leak that destroyed our kitchen, floors, and drywall downstairs. So it's been chaos and messy, so when I clean hardcore he really can tell easily. Prior to that I kept things tidy almost all the time, so he didn't notice when I did a deep clean or anything.
Maybe this just means you have a pretty clean house already! And that's a plus!
My fiance notices. Only if toys are picked up though. Thats what he hates the most. But I could steam mop and stuff and he wouldn't notice. But if I pick up all the toys and sweep, he loves it. Thats because we have a lot of arguments about when I dont clean so he appreciates me. I also just tell him what to do to feel better about myself lol
Nope lol not until something happens where I'm out of commission for a half day or something . Then he stops saying it would take him 15 mins to do the whole house . Just wait till I go in the hospital to give birth everyone's going to get a bf surprise lol my kids are home schooled so just imagine the mess
I'm going to add that my husband never ever cleans!!! Like ever!!!
He never complains if I don't clean. My house is usually clean but today I did a deep clean. But I could totally tell how dirty my hardwood floors were. So I though it would be noticeable to him when he came in but it wasn't!!! ??.
Depends some days my so noticed and some days he doesn't. I'm a sahm so I clean really good almost everyday so to him it's the same he only notices things like his clothes being clean or his area/stuff being cleaned it's annoys me when I've spent hours deep cleaning the entire house and he has the nerve to ask me what I did all day ..
Like really dude?!?! It would be nice if they noticed stuff like that lol
Trigger warning UPDATE IN COMMENTS
So going off of my poll about using correct body terms I need some 2nd opinions. I feel like I am so paranoid about this. So my sil has been with my brother for 12 years now. Our families are really close. We clean for her mom and step dad every two weeks and house sit from time to time. Her mom absolutely adores my dd so we would bring her with us. I started noticing that her stepdad would always want to bring her in another room. I didn't think anything beca...
some of the stuff I see on here, like rooms, beds, houses, etc is disgusting! you claim you're a sahm and your husband works hard, then help him out and let him come home to a clean house, bed, sheets, etc🤷🏻♀️
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Does your baby father tell you what time to be home like have a curfew ? Because really I'm not a child and I'm not going out drinking or partying it was a child play day and unplanned so of course I didn't wash the dishes if I had known I would of cleaned in advance and cooked but seriously he took it too personal saying I'm in the street all day and it's the last time I do this really do I look ten years old to him ?
do you...
Clean up after your SO is done cooking? Or vice versa? DF was cooking and while he was cooking I unloaded the dish washer and hand washed the pot he had used and put dishes in the dish washer, so by the time he got his plate, dishes were done and left overs were in Tupperware on the counter just in case anyone wanted seconds and counters were wiped down. The room mate asked me why I do that, and I just say that's how I was raised. I always clean up after anyone cooks in the house, eve...
No and it makes me mad because I'm 9 months pregnant with two toddlers running around 24/7. Like dude, do you know what I do all day?!
