PSA. I know we all clean out our lint traps after every load right. But have u ever cleaned out the hose connected to the dryer that then blows outside. This is how much lint was in those tubes. My vacuum was totally empty before I started this.

do you... Clean up after your SO is done cooking? Or vice versa? DF was cooking and while he was cooking I unloaded the dish washer and hand washed the pot he had used and put dishes in the dish washer, so by the time he got his plate, dishes were done and left overs were in Tupperware on the counter just in case anyone wanted seconds and counters were wiped down. The room mate asked me why I do that, and I just say that's how I was raised. I always clean up after anyone cooks in the house, even after myself. I clean as I cook, so DF doesn't clean up because it's done before dinner is finished lol. But there's rare occasions where he'd be in the kitchen while I cook so he does help out with the cleaning since i cook during the day sometimes so we can heat it up when it's dinner time. I want everyone to get their first and seconds before I eat. My mom has taught me to always clean up after your spouse makes dinner, it's only fair. They put their effort into cooking, you should always help them out.
some of the stuff I see on here, like rooms, beds, houses, etc is disgusting! you claim you're a sahm and your husband works hard, then help him out and let him come home to a clean house, bed, sheets, etc🤷🏻 ♀

Our hose actually came loose once. Clothes were taking forever to dry, so I went behind the dryer to look and there was lent everywhere ?
I check it constantly now lol

Omg it was so bad. I have a large pipe cleaner wand type thing that I used to loosen it first then vacuumed it all up. I was on a crazy cleaning kick today and I didn't even get 50% of it done lol. That's the troubles of trying to clean and organize with a 3&1/2 year old and 22mth old lol. Everything takes 50 million times longer lol

Did you disconnect the hose & vacuum it out? I really need to do this. I want to buy one of those lint lizard extensions that goes on your vacuum & fits into the dryer vent.

A friend of mine used to have to dry her clothes 3 yep you read it right 3 times just to get it dried. She somehow decided to check the outside vent and pulled out SO much. She hasnt had a problem drying clothes since.

I wish I could do this but the people who did my apartments built a little box hiding the entire vent tube system because it goes half way through the kitchen. I can only get to the wall part that the dryer hooks to and the outside is covered with little trap type door thing.

Yea I plan on doing the outside get probably tomorrow. And yes I took the tubing apart and used w giant pipe cleaner specifically for this. Then used my vacuum. It was unbelievable how much lint wan in there. Gotta do this every few months now

My friends house burned down a few years ago because they didn't know you're supposed to clean the dryer hose out every so often. So scary.
