In the Womb vs. Newborn Temperament

In the Womb vs. Newborn Temperament

My mom and I were talking about how DD1 was a very lazy baby in the womb and didn't move very much, and then when she was born she was a very calm newborn and hardly ever cried.

It's so crazy that babies can already display their personality traits before even being born!

As long as this baby is a good sleeper, I'm totally cool with a crazy newborn! ?

Yes!! My oldest was so hyper constantly moving and she's now 10 and is ADHD and is constantly a motor going nonstop! My 6 year old is almost exactly like her no totally but very close! He doesn't act like he's a motor nonstop but he is extremely hyper and had moments of being crazy! Now my other two were so easy when I was pregnant and they have normal kid moments but nothing like my older 2! And my mom said the day thing about how she was with me and my sisters! My mil says the same about her kids and pregnancies, so I believe how they are in the womb is how they will be growing up

My baby moved constantly in the womb, I have videos of her just pummeling me from the inside. Now at almost 3 months, she's still always moving. Always kicking those feet and swinging her arms, even in her sleep.

DD was wild during the day and calm at night. Never woke me up. And she is still like that. She is going to be 2 in a month and is still my silly wild girl during the day and an amazing sleeper at night. Started sleeping the whole night just before 2 months.

Dd moved a lot but she's been an extremely calm child. Ds moves slow and basically has a schedule. We will see in July

My son didn't move a whole lot when I was pregnant, now the only time he doesn't move is when he's sleep the kid is crazy ??. He came out 4 weeks early with his eyes wide open screaming bloody murder, he talks all day and literally misses nothing. I would not have expected that

Both of my babies were very predictable when they were in the womb. They moved around the same times everyday lol. To this day both love having a routine and stick to them.

My daughter was super active in the womb. She's never really been hyper as a toddler and wasn't even very active as a baby..weird

My most recent kiddo moved non stop. Turns out, he moves a lot in his sleep. So he was actually sleeping but was twitching and moving his arm or leg.

All my kids slept/sleep really well.

So yes right now he sleeps almost all night at 2 months. Wakes up once for a 430 feeding.

I don't want to jinx it tho ??

I'm curious as well, DD was pretty active in the womb and was a very alert newborn that paid attention to everything going on around her; she's still this way as a 3 year old.

DS has been insanely active in the womb and I'm due June 18th so we shall see what this little guy is like once he gets here. It's interesting for sure!

My son was awesome in the womb, moved at predictable times every day, never woke me up at night.

He has been a maniac since he came out of the womb, lol. Night and day difference.

Both of my kids temperament matched how they acted in the womb

My 1st wasn't super active but he kicked me HARD. He's an easy-going dude and a good sleeper.

This one doesn't kick as hard but he's active more often. So we shall see...

My daughter was crazy in the womb (she used to kick my midwife when she and she is a loud, outspoken, crazy infant.

Snap... Exact same DD1 calm & chilled (lazy) in utero & as newborn, whereas this pregnancy he moves allllll the time.

I'm curious too.

My first two boys were extremely calm in the womb and came out really quiet n calm lasted until they were 1.

My third boy was wild in the womb and came out way more "hyper" then my boys.

Accidentally called my friend fat???

Accidentally called my friend fat??? Ugh. So my coworker who I'm very close with is very insecure about her weight. She was upset this morning because she commented to another coworker that she liked her shirt. Other woman told her she should come raid her closet sometime because they are the same size. She's very upset and offended by this remark because she thinks this woman is fat.
