Sleep Talking
Do you or your SO talk in your sleep?? What are some funny/scary/sad things you or they have said?
I love this thread!! I love hearing these kind of stories. Haha
My oh mumbles in his sleep a lot and occasionally giggles. My sister talks in her sleep quite a bit and growing up she's said lots of weird things, one time she sat up with her arms straight in front of her and said 'pick a card any card' then screamed 'no, not that one' and laid back down, another time she said 'they're kicking a can, of course they're crazy' in a very disgusted voice.
My grandma does. One time she legit said macaroni pirate. Wtf is that? And neon cottonballs. And god forbid you try to wake her up. She shrieks like your an intruder. Im usually like "grandma" in a very soft voice and all of a sudden shes screaming like shes being robbed. Its quite scary.
Speaking of talking in your sleep as I was reading these my other half just said something after he rubbed my belly I couldn't make out what he said though.. the last word was safe. hes told me tgat I talk in my sleep... once it was about snorting pixies... then another time I apparently sat up said something and he said "what?" And I replied pregnant women
My husband does and it really bugs me sometimes Idk why.
But for me I had a dream that my daughter was giving me attitude and In real life I said "Stop!" In a really firm voice and moved my hand out from the blanket and that work me up and my husband said dang who where up talking to and I was like our daughter she was giving me attitude lol
I have a few times and so does he. It only happens when we're really over tired.
When we were dating I stayed with him in his dorm one night. I was really tired and was sleeping on his futon. I said "I can see you staring at me" and I thought he was standing in front of me but he was actually laying behind me trying to sleep haha.
Last week in the middle of the night I was nursing our newborn. He rolled over and said oh wow! I asked him what? He says you know Mav has a whole load of dry wall in there! (My husband had just recently started a new job where he works with dry wall). He got this really confused look on his face like he knew what he had said was weird and he wanted to explain it. Then he just rolled over and went back to sleep haha! I asked him the next day if he remembered all of that and he did but he couldn't remember why he said it.
My ex bf did alot. Once he woke up or not exactly woke up but got up looked at me and said "come on babe we got to go they're all waiting for us" I ask him who and he says " come one their at the door waiting" I slowly get up not knowing wtf is going on and he lays back down. I looked out the door and no one was around. I told him the next day and he had no idea what I was talking about.
Once when I was 18, I worked at subway. I hated that job so much becuase the people that worked there didnt like me and gave me hell everyday. I fall asleep and he (my ex) is still awake and I say in my sleep "what kind of sandwiche would you like" I immediately woke up and we just busted up. I ended up quitting two weeks in. Figured my stress level was thru the roof.
The other night my dd talked in her sleep and said "I want my mommy" my heart sank I couldnt say a word, thankfully my so said "mommy's right here baby". She talks in her sleep often just cant remember what else she has said. She just turned 4. That was on her bday.
I walk and talk in my sleep if I'm under a lot of stress or in a new environment.
When I was 13 I walked into my mom and step-dad's room, stood at the foot of the bed, and pointed out the window. My SD tried talking to me, thinking there was a fire outside (lots of fires at the time), but my mom realized what was up and told me to go back to bed. I mumbled that "no one lets me have any fun," and turned around and went back to bed.
The funniest/scariest one though were after I moved in with my husband.
-DH was watching me sleep when my eyes shot open and I told him "I'm gonna cut you," before slamming my eyes shut and snoring back into a sound sleep. Poor guy looked terrified when I woke up.
-I woke up with my hand held up to the side of my head as if it were a phone (thumb to the ear, pinky to the mouth), and later when my husband woke up he explained that I started yelling loudly as if I was having a conversation with someone, then rolled over and told him his brother had called and "he'll be late, he is stuck at the bridge." There are no bridges in our area, and his brother never called.
I've got another really funny one but it would be too long and hard to explain, but it involved "looking for meat strips" and not finding any.
DDs dad once told me to put the crayons in the trash.
We were laying in bed and had no crayons.
Once he also asked me why 2+2 equaled 4. Then he said that 6+6 equals 12. Woke up a few seconds later saying "what the hell was I talking about?"?
My cousin mumbles so much in his sleep and I can barely comprehend it but it's soo annoying?
My boyfriend always claims I'm making these things up!
As if I lay in bed all night thinking about what funny things I can make up just to stir up a conversation with him.

You can be racist towards the race of your friends.
You can be racist towards your own race.
You can be racist towards the race of your family.
You can be racist towards the race of your spouse.
You can be racist towards the race of your kids.
Your racism doesn't just stop being racism because 'X' is said race.
Racism is Racism.
