I'm 3 weeks post partum. DH has been working extra hard to cover our bills while I'm on maternity leave. We see each other for maybe 5 minutes a day. This last week I've been up visiting my parents (an hour away) with my baby so my parent's can see their grandson and my Dh can focus on work. Today he stopped by to say hi since he was in the area. We were cuddling on the couch for 10 minutes before he had to leave. He leaned in kissed me and said "oh what a cute moustache you have" WTF?? you don't say that to your wife especially when she's exhausted and sleep deprived. I started crying and he felt horrible. He quickly apologized and hopefully learned his lesson.

Such simple little insulting jokes can make us feel like crap sometimes.
Mine was like "you alright sh*t head" and I was all silently crying saying "I'm not a sh*t head"
It's not nice being all hormonal.

I'm a hairy beast, so this I'd a running joke between me and df. He knows better than to ever comment on my weight though, unless he's saying how awesome I look.

Mine said something about me having a mustache today knowing full well I have been insecure about becoming hairy this pregnancy. I've learned to let it roll off my shoulders and just point out the grey hairs in his beard ;)
