When we put up the crib my dogs did wonder what it was but just looked at it and walked away. When I got the carseat my dog didn't even pay attention to it, he was mostly paying atention to what I was doing with my other dog in the carseat. I've tried showing them the clothes I've gotten so far but they dont even smell it or anything...I wonder if they're just ignoring it or if they really don't know what is going on?

That's a good idea! I'm only 29 weeks but I've started putting down soft toys in my room that belong to the baby so my dog gets used to understanding it's the babies toys, not his lol he's a Staffordshire bull terrier and he just obsesses over anything soft looking that I buy for the baby!

Lol we set up the bassinet and I let him sniff around the carseast. Thankfully he hasn't peed on anything yet.

Lol we just set up the pack n play in our room where dd2 will be and set up the new rock n play sleeper. Dd1 has been putting her baby doll in both!

My sd has been gracious in letting me borrow her stuffed animals to practice with.
