Take tons of pictures and post them so they can see what happen that day and act like it doesn't bother you! I hate when some of my family did that on my baby shower but I hope you have such a great time and your friends is sweet for doing this for you

My husbands family all did the same thing at our wedding, all because we invited his dad, every single other member of his family refused to come! (His folks split 25years ago!) just enjoy your shower with the people who actually care and will be there for your baby :)

Baby showers were hell for me and nothing from my registry was bought except 2 things by pure coincidence.

Baby showers are all hype, if your registry gets used consider yourself very lucky!

Thanks for the support ladies. I am incredibly grateful that I'm having a shower thrown for me. I hope I didn't come across as ungrateful or a brat. I Found out today that all the people I invited from DH's side, ALL went to hex's babyshower 4 years ago. Hello slap to the face. It's honestly better this way. Less drama and more food for us :-D dh didn't know until today how many people flaked on me. He was upset too.
