Ftm due in January. I'm planning on breastfeeding until I go back to work and then pump/breastfeed (can you do both? I've heard a few different things about pumping and I'm confused). What supplies do you recommend for both? Thanks!

Reusable boob pads, medela pump, medela kit with bottles to keep milk in, and yes you can lump and bf but wait a bit, I worked and pumped til 7 mo but ended up supplementing at five mos. Even though i pumped every three hours at work.

Bm storage bags! Don't start pumping the first month or you may get a ridiculous oversupply & your boobs will hurt & leak like crazy.

Yep the breast pads.
Electric pump with proper fitting flanges.
To help milk flow etc mothers milk tea, fenugreek, goats rue etc.
Bm storage bags. A couple of ice packs and cooler.
Find out about the where you will pump at work.

You need a good pump, I love my medela. It had a cooler attached to it. The bottels you need to store the milk. You need breast pads. Nipple cream of some kind. When I worked I would bring an extra shirt and bra incase of a big let down leak, came in handy once. I pumped and worked from 3 months till 12 months. You can do it!
