Help...Heavy bleeding
Did this ever happen to anyone? Im 5 weeks pregnant. I woke this am and all was good. All off the sudden I felt cramping and started bleeding within minutes. (Tmi sorry) i was bleeding so much it was as if I was peeing blood. We rushed to the er 15 min away. I soaked the pad during the drive. Went to bathroom there and another gush of blood with clots. I was sure this was it. More soaked pads and crazy cramps and Dr finally saw me. My HCG more than doubled, to nice 2200 from 358 in less than 4 days. Ultrasound showed gest sac measuring up to date. He said all looks good with no explanation of bleeding but the amount of bleeding and bad cramps are indicating a threatened miscarriage. However, 4 hours after it all started, my bleeding almost stopped ( only when wiping) and no more cramps. Did anyone ever experience unexplained bleeding episodes with good hcg levels ( dr expected numbers to be a lot lower than 358 given the amount of blood, yet, i more than doubled). What were your outcomes? ( good or bad).

yes with my 3rd. almost the sane thing happened to me at 12 weeks. I went to the hospital freaking out. doc said I would probably lose her. but every u/s was fine. I kept bleeding not as heavy but lightly until 32 weeks. she wa born at 37 weeks completely healthy. they told me my placenta partially detached. just try to relax, keep your feet up and don't do anything strenuous. doc may put you on bed rest. I will keep you in my prayers that everything turns out well for you and your baby.
My first pregnancy, I had a threatened miscarriage (I was 18 at the time, 26 now) got an ultrasound the next day, baby was fine. I did not have a miscarriage, but i terminated it because (stupid idiotic) doctor at the time said my chances of carrying it full term was slim to none... Now that I look back, I believe it would have been a healthy pregnancy, (still saddens me) but I really got scared because of what the doctor told me.
If you saw the wee one on the u/s after it happened, and the hcg levels sky rocketed and the baby looked healthy, I'm sure everything is fine. Just keep your feet up and drink lots of water :):):)

What is everyone's blood work? Those that get it done (I know not everyone does)
What’s your take on vaccinations? Some people think they do more harm to the baby than good .. personally I don’t know , but I would love some insight.

Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what ...
i did for 5 months. went to the wr u/s was fine. they discharged me as i walked out my water broke i was 18 weeks. i pushed my son out he passed away. it was due to bacterial vaginosis. it ruptured my placenta. you will be just fine
