my water broke at 24 wks with my daughter. I went into labor at 27 weeks. she weighed 2lbs 8oz. she came home exactly a month afterwards. she just turned two july,15. but while she was in the nicu, my friend had her twins the day after I had my daughter. she was 28 weeks. her baby girls were in the nicu as well. they stayed in for 2 1/2 months. they also just turned two, yesterday.

i had my son at 27 weeks& 1 day old. he was in the hospital for 2 months before he went home. he is now 3 1/2 years old. completely healthy and you would never know he was a premmie. they can hold off your labor for a bit longer.

I was at 3.5 cm dilated at 28 weeks with my first son and still carried him till 42 weeks when I was induced. I wasn't carrying twins but still there is hope. I hear that with twins, it is very common to deliver b4 term. Which makes sense because of the weight from 2 baby's. Hang in there mami, try not to stress to much.

so sorry to hear that. i didnt have twins however my 6yr old daughter was born at 24 weeks an while she had to stay n the hosp for 2 months she is perfect today. when born she only weighed 2lbs so hopefully that will give you some hope.
