short cervix
Hi, im 25 weeks with twins and just found out my cervix is only 1.5 cm! My dr send me asap for the steroid shot, put a pessary ring in and ordered strict bed rest. Anyone in similiar situation? Or had it happen before? Im scared that im only 25 weeks!! How long can i hold them? Of course the dr sais no way to tell. :/
I have a cerclage and am 25wks 1d so not completely in your shoes, but thoughts and prayers for you and little ones that they stay put at least another 10 weeks.
I went into Maternal-Fetal Medicine because I had higher than average results for my age for Downs Syndrome. So I went in and had an ultrasound, and now they tell me I have a short cervix and am high risk for delivering early. I go back in on friday, so I'll find out what they're gonna do then.
I only a little similar, but I will say a prayer for you. I am 28w with a girl, and my cervix is around 2 .0. Just be really strict with the bed rest and if you are not already make sure you go on pelvic rest. Good luck & lots of prayers.
Was told yesterday im 5cm dilated but cervix is closed , should i be prepared?? Im only 26 weeks 😥😥
i went to the ER and Im 14 weeks but the nurse couldn't hear the heartbeat 😳. But Dr said my cervix is closed no bleeding
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Only benefit of being high risk. In two weeks, I start weekly ultrasounds to measure my cervix. Waiting on a call from my OB to make an appointment to start progesterone injections. Two appointments every week. 😂😂
Has anyone tried evening primrose oil to start soften they cervix ? My sister did it and she had her baby this morning at 39 weeks
