nursery At how many weeks did you start getting your nursery ready? I will be 24 weeks tomorrow ( not having a shower)…

We started at about 19 weeks we went around all the shops together and chose everything to buy latter. Now my partner can organise and put everything together and I can rest. Glad we did that than I'm now 22 weeks and I have problems walking for more than 5 mins at a time my belly and hips become very painful. So big shops like ikea are out the question now.

I'm 28 weeks and have the cribs and dressers together went paint shopping today I think I finally found my colors

I'm about to start and Im 20 weeks on Thursday... Figure bed rest is definitely on the cards from about 30 weeks due to vasa previa so want things organized !!

I'm just about done and I am 26 weeks

I am wishing I had started earlier however dh believes we have a long time left (currently 26 wks) we have cleaned out half the room but hubby just wants to wait anlittle longer... I suppose if push comes to shove he will have to do it himself :)

We have already painted, refinished a vintage dresser/ changing table, and got a recliner. My sisters bf who is a carpenter is making the cribs.. But I'm freaking out that we don't have anything major for the baby! I'm only 14 weeks!

Your definitely are not nuts! lol My goal was to have everything ready by 30 weeks and I'm glad I did because I am on hospital bed rest :/ so I would get everything ready because you never know what can happen :) good luck

My advice is that you can't finish it too early! There's always the possibility of bed rest, but also once you go past 30 weeks it'll be so much harder to be on your feet and move around. I had all the furniture in by 24 weeks and then rest was all set by 32 weeks. Now I'm 36 weeks and I can barely move.

34 weeks now...

I started getting things at 16 weeks. And I'm still not finished and I'm almost 28 weeks.

Haha no you're not nuts! (; I think the sooner you get started/finished the better. I only started getting things ready about a month ago and SO wish I'd started sooner - I'm so big and tired now and just don't have the energy or the drive anymore... Good luck! (: (:
