Hi everyone I am on 4 patches every 3 days of viveldot patches which I run out of quickly since the box only brings 8 does anyone know another similar medication to substitute these I only ask because my insurance won’t cover it and each box is almost 200$ any ideas so I can ask my dr?

Don’t Estrace tablets do the same thing. It’s all estrogen replacement therapy. The tablets are waaaayyyy cheaper but require you to be on time and take them multiple times a day. Good luck!

Hmmm thinking you’re on both forms of estrogen due to lining issues? Is there a different brand you can be placed on that’s less expensive? I’d call your insurance company to ask them which brands of estradiol patches they cover! If you have a FSA or HSA that should cover it as well. Also keep
those receipts for oop medical expenses for reimbursement during next years tax season...

What are you ladies on for estradiol? Pills or patches or none?
Also are any of you on vag progesterone capsules?

I take 5 tablets a day and have vaginal gel progesterone. I have no lining issues.
I’m hoping that at my scan on Friday, they will let me stop. sick of the progesterone now!

I take Estrace 2mgs twice per day and take PIO shots with no suppositories... I also take baby aspirin 81mgs at night and prenatal with ferrous gluconate Iron due to anemia with past pregnancies.
Did your RE explain why you have to take both the tablets and patches? I’d just run the question by them to see if you need to be on both or can you just axe the patches and stay on the tablets?

I am on 2x Evorel patches every other day and vaginal progesterone (suppositories) 400mg twice daily.

Chrissy yours sounds similar to mine I’m on 4 patches every 3 days and vaginal caps two twice a day and 4 estradiol pills daily
Baby4ever yes tomorrow I’m going to ask him about cutting off the patches and maybe increasing the pills

My protocol has me taking 2mg estrace vaginally twice daily. Messy but cheap and effective. Also pio in da butt! Hehe

I’m also on vivelle 2 patches every other day and estradiol 3mg twice daily and 1ml of PIO twice a day...
After my first MC doctor put me on a different protocol which she would do for somebody that had 3 MCs already. I’m also on heparin injections twice daily, prednisone twice daily, and baby aspirin daily and high dose of folic acid...boy i tell you...
Patches are so expensive...I can’t wait to be off of patches...
