Piyo
So today is the first day I did my own piyo injection and I just want to say that I will never self inject again I don’t know how some of you do it but it’s definitely not something I ever want to do again. Kudos to you brave woman that can self inject progesterone oil injections !!!
PIO Shots Are they painful? Do you inject it yourself? How many times a day? Where do you inject it? Next week am getting med teach for the injection lol but I what to hear the real deal for you ladies

You are lucky. Some of us have to do it ourselves. My hubby passed out if he sees a needle. Ugh he is such a wimp.

I'm flexible, experienced with needles as I work in the medical field, and I lean over a counter and relax that leg as much as possible.

Oh you are a trooper my biggest problem isn’t getting the needle in it’s actually slowly pushing in the oil I can’t see what I am doing and if I stand in front of a mirror I am twisting my body so it hurts more

I don’t think I could give myself my PIO shots! I mean how do you even reach? I’d be afraid I’d snap the needle off or something! Good for you for doing it yourself... just one more badge of honor you’ve earned during this whole nasty process!

stacy: You’re one of the fortunate few who had someone do them for you! I have to self administer shots myself and when I put them in I inject with short increments at a time but all at once is too painful! Afterwards I tend to bleed a little so I place a gauze pad over it and apply pressure for a few seconds and there’s literally no pain! None! After a while I got the hang of it but I wonder once my belly starts to grow how I’m going to reach around and give myself an injection with it in the way lol! Oh the things we go through as women! Kudos to you for trying on your own lol!

I was never able to do it myself. My husband always did it for me. I think he actually enjoyed sticking me with that damn needle sometimes. Lol

Well my hubby is out of town for work a lot these days so most of the time I bother my sister or mom to do it but I have to drive to their house every morning before they start their day as I don’t want to inconvenience anyone but I end up waking them up earlier than they need to be which I felt bad about and injected myself this morning and um.. yeah I can never do that again. Good part is we all should stop piyo around week 10 of pregnancy so there is a light at the end of this tunnel it’s just feels really far away... ?
