Positive ovulation test after miscarriage?? (19 days since d&c) could this be a false positive due to a little hcg still…

I have heard hcg can make an ovulation test positive... So many take a pregnancy test and see if it's positive or not. If negative, you are ovulating! Good luck and sorry about your loss.

ovulation test works by detecting the surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) that happens after ovulation. Pregnancy tests work by detecting hCG. So your most likely going to ovulate In the next couple of days! I used to use the same ovulation tests and that happy face means your at your peak. I would start getting busy today! ?

I went to the doctors office this morning and drew blood they are going to call me later to confirm if i am ovulating or not. If i am i get to drive up to orlando to see my DH since he is away on a business trip and we wouldnt want to miss the chance. he gets home sat so if they say im about to ovulate and will ovulate over the weekend id save myself the drive.

Regardless fingers crossed i am even ovulating so quickly

The ivf dr just called my hcg is at 67 and my progesterone is lower than 3 so i am not ovulating yet. My ob had mentioned that women can ovulate once the hcg is under 100. So it was worth a try. DH and i will just have fun this weekend just incase but now we know hcg can give u positive ovulation tests.

Yup. If you have enough of either hormone in your body you'll get a positive. I just didn't know you still had any hCG in your system. That's awesome. Get busy girl!!
