How Long Does It Take to Get No Results from PanoramaNatera?

I called them freaking out and was told the cash price was $449 and when I said I called before the test I was told $200 he said when I get the bill for $449 call them and they’ll adjust it to $200. Someone on another board was told the cash price was $199 and another was told $349, one was told $749!!! Seriously they’re giving us heart attacks for nothing.

The pre-approval rep told me yesterday that they never charge more than $200 if it's not covered by insurance.

Has anyone else gotten a denial from their insurance? Before I agreed to the test, I called insurance and Natera as well as spoke to my doctor. My doctor AND Natera both told me that "the most they've ever seen anyone pay is $200" and I just got a denial for the $8,000 test with my responsibility being $3,900. Insurance told me they couldn't say for certain how much it would be.

I posted similar question! I thought I was a rare situation when My Natera Panorama test came back “no result” I was pissed bc I have not told family or work but am showing it seems. I’m 36 so really care about genetics more than the sex. I’m not announcing to work if there is something severe bc I will not carry if not viable. I gained a little weight (10lbs) before conception. So I’m chunkier than I should be also.

MD said that Natera test is given more widely bc it allows all ages to take and offers that cheap $200 price if not covd. But said that Materni21 is more accurate and sensitive and only does high risk or advanced maternal age. So I got the PA for Materni21 test. Took it 6 days ago. They are always open so only takes 5 calendar days after receiving sample vs 10-14 cal days with Natera company

I got my results back 8 days after and I'm overweightso I hope u get results soon

congrats! mine came back today as well but again low fetal fraction so no results. getting my money refunded now and waiting 4 weeks for my ultrasound

They just called, everything came back low risk and she asked me if I wanted the gender. I told her I felt bad finding out without my husband, so she said they have little gender reveal boxes they do and she will leave mine for me at the front desk to take home and open with my husband!!

I’m redrawing on Friday at 12+6! If I don’t get results again, I’ll just wait for an ultrasound.

I spoke with the rep at Natera. he said they keep running the test until you get results. I had to redraw twice . so I'm waiting on my third test now. I asked if I don't get results this time if I can get my $200 back and he said absolutely. you only pay for results so if you never got a result they refund you

So what happens now? Do you have to pay for it and just not get anywhere? That's what I'm afraid of. I'm now on day 11 since draw, 10 since they received and its status is still "sample received". Today is the ETA for results and I'm super irritated that I don't have results yet.

If this one comes back as inconclusive again I don't know what I'll do. Before I took the test I called Natera, insurance, and my doc office and they all said I'd pay about $200. I can't afford to pay $200 and NOT have any kind of results. It was worth it to know if baby was healthy or not, but not to have it be almost a month since the first draw and still be nowhere closer to finding out.

I got no results/ inconclusive twice. The first one i took at 10 weeks i got the results in 10 business days. Second was drawn at 12w4d i got tesults in 9 buisness day. Im not going through with a third

And their site says they can do it as low as 2.8 so you were so dang close. I bet if you did it again you’d get results.

And I’m also severely overweight, he said the one that needed a 3rd was quite a bit bigger than me and he’s confident we’ll get results this time. It’s just a matter of when!

Yeah. I saw that too!!! I’m overweight so, I keep telling myself that’s the reason why and I’m nervous to try again because obviously, I’m not going to get my weight to normal in a few days lol. I’m just nervous I’ll get another “no results.” It feels like I waited FOREVER just to see those results. When I take the next one, I’ll be 12+6 so fingers crossed! Post when you get your results again! I’m rooting for ya!

Oh man. I was hoping that since it was taking longer that it was a good sign. My fetal fraction on the first was 2.4, and the second test was 2 weeks later. It bugs me that at the bottom of the report it gives you a percentage of a successful test based on your weight and fetal fraction, but it never says after how long of a wait. I asked my doc and he said he didn’t know either.

He did say that he’s only had one patient ever have to do it three times, and she was quite a bit larger than I am. I’m just so defeated, because the nurse destroyed my arm when she took over 30 minutes and four tries to get barely enough blood ???

I just got my “no results” report back this morning. I got my blood drawn on 3/7 and results this morning. I went 10+ days and still got “no results”

The fetal fraction was only 2.7 I’m super bummed. I hope this time a round is successful for you.
