Weeks and days in apps

Like many of you probably do, I have multiple pregnancy apps and they are showing 3 different things. Some show 6w6d, some show 6w7d, and one shows 7w0d. I’ve input my due date of 9/22 on all of them since my LMP puts me further (I’ve ovulated late on all of my pregnancies)

Oh so WTE had the wrong due date so that’s why it showed 7. Now it says 6w6d haha

I think this one does 5w7d lol

What to Expect has me at 7w0d so that’s what I’ll go with since it’s further haha

It's because some apps label the days 0-6 while others label the days 1-7.

I personally like the way Ovia does it (0-6) so I stick with them. It starts the week with 5 weeks 0 days and ends the week with 5 weeks 6 days.

I hate the apps that do 1-7 because it includes a day that's 5 weeks 7 days. It just makes no sense to me.

I think there are different ways to calculate. Some apps take into account the length or your cycle, some don’t. Some you can’t put in date of conception if you know it. I have an avg cycle of 26 days which puts me at 9/21, but if I calculate based on 28 day cycle (which this app does), I’m at 9/23. Haven’t been to the dr yet but I think my last pregnancies they just took the day of my last period and assumed my cycle was 28 days and that’s how they gave me my date. So you’re around me, I say “about 7 weeks.” Haha
