Most useless child item Are toys.

Mine loves straws and sticks. He was hoarding straws in the couch cushions, he had quite the stash.

Remotes, boxes, lids, spoons, bottles, vacuum, flashlights, basically all non-toy objects.

The straw that came with the big cup the hospital gave me when I had dd. Our 2yr old loves it cause it makes a whistling noise when you blow in it.

Hair elastics. He calls them circles and I'm always short on them because he's always making some new contraption.

Dd loves the remote and my phone.

My daughter is a year old and loves my lipstick!! She will sneak in my room and get a lipstick and throw it in the toilet or open it ? sneaky little thing.

Everything they aren't supposed to play with!! House decor, toilet plunger and brush, DH's Oakley sunglasses, my glasses, tampons (unopened of course), also, currently all the dang ornaments on the tree!! The list goes on! If I didn't have a baby gate blocking our kitchen then I could probably go on for years.

Omg heather that's my problem! He has a toy phone and remote and then a real phone and remote that just doesn't work anymore. But nooo he has to only play with the ones that do work.

Anything and everything in the recycling bin. We have no room to put the recycle anywhere he can't reach so I pick it up daily ? pots and pans too. I open that cabinet up for extra special tantrums he throws lol

I used to work at the strong national museum of play and in our toy hall of fame we had the stick inducted. Lol its a popular toy.

The dustpan.... he tries to carry it everywhere ... and sets it on the floor to sit on it. When I take it away he screams.

My daughter likes to raid my kitchen drawer and steal all my measuring cups and spoons. I even got her a set from the dollar store but no, she just wants mine.

Yesterday I gave my son dry cereal and two measuring cups. He played with that for almost an hour solid.

He also loves cups of water. He will take sips and carry it to the all the tables he can. Sit it down. Take a sip. Take it to another area. Take a sip, etc.

And the vacuum. It's his very best friend.

He also loves my makeup brushes, my hair dyer, lids of any kind, remotes, big spoons, cups...ya the list could go on.

My 2 year old is obsessed with the bottle flipping with Gatorade bottles lol. He sees his big bro do it and now he's quite good lol.

He still plays with my pots and pans. And is obsessed with spoons and forks ?

Small Tupperware lids. He freaking loves them and carries them around all over. Also the suction cup base of a toy. It popped off and he loves that one too.

One of lo's favorite toys is "baby paper". It is marketed as a toy, but it's basically just crinkle paper. Whoever came up with that idea is a genius, a rich genius.

Oh, also water bottles. Sometimes if I need 10 free minutes I cut the label and cap/ring off a bottle and he loves that.

Stoffer's lasagna box from 3 weeks ago. It's so tore up I'm going to have to buy another for dinner soon to replace it.

My son enjoys putting a blanket over his head and running around. (17 months). He's special.

My oldest was one who didn't know how to play with toys unless I sat down with her and played with them!

My other kids appreciate all toys... and to my surprise, gender specific ones as well.
