I would say likely the soap but if it happens every time it may be the cum that makes you sick. If you recently had a baby you should have been tested for all STD. At least that's what my doctor does.

Yes this can happen, I've seen many come in the ER and test positive for strep after oral. Most of their husbands were not circumcised so it was caused by bacteria under their foreskin. Also you need a swab to rule out chlamydia or gonorrhea. Sounds crazy but yes you can get it in your throat, or his semen could of agitated your throat.

You definitely need to get it checked though. Not just wait it out because this isn't something normal. Could be it's nothing serious but this isn't a common thing to just ignore it

Well, what Gensing and iris mentioned, that would make sense as to why your throat would hurt. I've had a sore throat from that before a few times but not a fever. But if he isn't hitting the back of your throat then that shouldn't be happening.

Normally something like that happens for the first time with a new partner. Your situation is new to me.

You need a throat swab to rule out gonorrhea and chlamydia.

If that comes back clear, you're just really sensitive to his semen and I would suggest not swallowing. If you must, gargle with warm salt water afterwards.
