Sucking on garlic
I have a sore throat and was told sucking of garlic cloves would help. So far all that it's doing is burning the sides of my cheeks and tongue.

Do you have a trader joes near you?
They have a lemon echinacea drink that I buy by the gallon when I have a sore throat.
Also- taking spoonfuls of honey is an IMMEDIATE number. It works better than ANY anesthesia. I keep a jar of honey by the bed when I'm feeling bad and any time my throat hurts too bad I take a shot ?

I've never heard of sucking on garlic but I have heard of eating raw garlic cloves.
You can chop it up and put it on a spoon then pour honey over it

Suck on a marshmallow. It's supposed to help sooth a sore throat.

I haven't heard of sucking on garlic. I chop it up into pieces and eat a few. Just that burns my tongue. I couldn't imagine sucking on it like a cough drop lol
Manuka honey. I swear by this stuff. I like to eat 1-3 spoonfuls. Depends how crappy i'm feeling. I will eat a spoonful when I wake up and right before bed.
