Pediatrician help?!
I need advice on how to find the perfect pediatrician. What did y'all ask them to figure out if they were good for you or not? I would really like a intact and breastfeeding friendly doctor for my son. There are a few pediatricians where I go to my ob so I was going to ask them next time I'm there. I just don't know what I should ask the doctor when searching though. Is it rude to just straight out ask "are you intact and breastfeeding friendly"? I just don't really know how I should ask them. I don't want a doctor to push circumcision or formula on me and my son for no good reason. Final question though. The town I would love to take him to for his doctor is an hour away and all the doctors in my small town where I live are all general practitioners. Would it be better just getting a doctor in my town or driving to the bigger city for an actual better pediatrician. I don't mind the drive I just don't know how my son will feel riding for an hour if he is sick. Any advice and tips would seriously help me so much please.

I looked up a bunch of pediatricians that were covered by my insurance, checked the schools they went to and their credentials and background, made sure they didn't have any black marks. I narrowed it down and looked up patient reviews. From there I made sure they worked hours that were good for me and the location and building were nice. Then called and asked if they were accepting new patients and asked a few questions. The receptionist offered a meet and greet if I wanted. You can ask them anything, though I've never ever heard of a pediatrician who would push formula over breast milk. My pediatrician acted pretty neutral on the circumcision topic for my sake, but I think she leaned towards intact.
Start your search with who is covered by insurance and narrow it down from there by credentials, reviews, office hours, etc.

I found one but idk if he will take my son or not. I have to wait to call but I figured there would surely be more than one doctor that's great like that in a town as big as the one I'm going to.
