Moms with colicky babies
Moms with colicky babies
So this is a weird question but someone told me that since my baby hiccups a lot in my tummy he is going to be more inclined to reflux or other tummy troubles once he's born. Is there any truth to this? Did yalls babies hiccup in the womb a lot and then have troubles when they were born? Just kinda had me thinking since my boy hiccups at least 2-3 times a day so I'm curious.

My son had hiccups several times a day in the last trimester. No lie. I was so worried but my doc assured me it was normal. He never had any colic problems or reflux problem. Never had any issues with formula so I think that's another myth. I hear they are strengthing their lungs but hiccups but I don't know how true that is

No, both daughters had hiccups a lot and thankfully had no colic ever, I was lucky

My son had hiccups all the time & they shook my entire bump! He still gets them a lot he's 6w old. He has reflux but I don't think hiccups can tell u if they will have that or not. Someone on here told me about gripe water & its a big help.

My dd had hiccups constantly and was colicky but I don't think hiccups really had anything to do with it. I know my ob says hiccups are a good thing since it shows their trying to breath.

My dd had hiccups all the time and she had reflux and was extremely colic for the first 8 months. I highly doubt it had tondo with hiccups though. Hiccups are totally normal and a good sign.

My son had non stop hiccups when I was pregnant but he did not have any colic or stomach issues at all.
