Kinda random question
Has anyone drove themselves to the hospital while in labor? I mean later in labor though like after 5 cm or so. And did you know you were in labor with contractions and all or was it just a surprise and the nurse told you when you got there? I'm kinda curious if anyone has or if everyone just had someone drive them. Sorry this is probably a stupid question.

I don't think it's stupid question, I wonder about maybe a single parent. My husband was deployed the second pregnancy and if he wasn't injured he wouldn't have been home.
I had back labor so I went in way too late, I was fully dialated. By the time I couldn't stay home I couldn't have driven. I feel like if I had normal contractions I could time then maybe I would have been able to drive early on

I did with my first, I was out shopping with my partner, he didn't have his license at that point so we drove 40 minutes to my parents house then my mum drove us the rest of the way

My mom went into labor, but before going to the hospital, she showered and drove my sister and I with her to the hospital. I was only 14, couldn't drive. Poor thing, she was so nervous!
