ants!!!! Without using harmful chemicals (because of baby)...how do I get rid of fire ants?! They…

Im not sure if it works for fire ants like it does for the small ones, but cinnamon powder at any known entry points stops them from coming in till you figure out a remedy. Just draw a line with cinnamon and it blocks them. I hope it works for fire ants! Won't hurt to try.

I hope you can find a safe remedy :( If all fails, an exterminator can exterminate just that area and just make sure baby has no access in those locations or maybe go on vacation for a few days after the spray ? We have an exterminator spray the windows/entry points inside and outside the house every 3 months(we live on acres of woods so tons bugs around us ?) and we were told its safe enough for baby. We use Arrow. I think they have them in your state but whether they're close or not, I'm not sure! Though thats definitely a last resort!

They hate baby powder also a cup with water an honey that way they go in to eat the honey and drown

Cinnamon, baby powder, spray the outside of the house so they don't want to come in.

Oh my goodness !!!! I have this same problem but you'll never guess, they're in my bathroom only. I'm going to try the suggestions. I never thought to ask :-)

I put vinegar on my counters and so far they're clear, Miley! And also, I tried the cinnamon trick in my garage haha. We will see if the works!

I know this is old but when I was younger my mother used grits. They take it to their queen and eat it and explode .
