Ok there's mixed thoughts on this, and I'm not trying to start anything, but I have some curiosity about seasoning baby food. :) Who does it/doesnt? Why/ why not? Daycare parents did it all the time if they were breastfed.. so is there a benefit. .or a risk?

I didn't season my first sons food and he's the pickiest thing you could meet. So far Zephram has had cinnamon in his sweet potato, cream cheese on toasted bread, banana with dates, and a bit of his daddy's smoothie with chocolate. I don't know if pickiness is what they are trying to avoid but just to show you how different the second is from the first.

Ooh thanks! I really wanna let her taste things off my plate, we season with flavor. I have heard it would make them less picky if they are introduced early to solids! Thank you!

The only seasonings my LO gets is if she picks something off my plate. I will let her eat it as long as it's not spicy :) she loves it.

I never thought of seasoning. But neither of my older boys are picky eaters and I introduced them to a lot of veggies first not so much fruit, I plan to do the same with Jeremiah. I don't think it's risky though to let them taste, sounds cool.

I always add a pinch of salt to her baby food when I give her. I mostly feed off my plate and I always season my food.

Thanks yall. I started adding cinnamon to her sweet potato. I found a great website on seasonings. I can't imagine eating bland food and I'm sure it's not fun for my baby too. Lol
