This year me and Hannah are flying to Colorado where my family lives. My hubby will be at the deer lease- as he is every year. Lol
We (my side) all have a gurgling cod that we pull out during this time of year and my mom is going to teach me how to make her homemade rolls. If you don't know what a gurgling cod is- Google it. Lol it's a ceramic pitcher in the shape of a cod and when you pour it- it sounds like a fish. Lol sounds silly but has been in my family for years.
My favorite foods are my moms homemade rolls and apple pie!
It's Not Thanksgiving without my Mac n cheese !!! I'm getting my dream thanksgiving this year, staying home, cooking What I WANT, enjoy my family (with no travel). I especially can't wait to get that Christmas tree.
This will be my first time hosting a holiday dinner, we've always lived in an apartment (not enough room). So I'm normally at my granny house helping her and my mom cook for the family.
And I Love to cook, NO ONE in my family can cook better than me TRUE STORY :))
Please take pictures! I want to visit so badly now. My husband has done the overseas trio, I haven't so that'd be way cheaper than overseas travel lol!

We're eating at my SIL's house. She's about 2-3 hrs away in the same state and literally lives on top of the mountains! It's beautiful :)
We're staying there the night so the next day we can go to Helen, GA. It's a mini German lookalike town! We're going to see the tree lighting.
Me and my SO are bringing his famous pasta salad, my peach cobbler with cream cheese, and possibly a sweet potato casserole with marshmellows.
Honestly I'm looking forward to eat the baked mac n cheese. Best family recipe. Oh and stuffing! Yum!
And pecan pie.

I will :) just depends what time we get there! Since it gets soo dark so fast ^^
I'd like to go there for a vacation one day though! Maybe for a weekend :)
I was told the best time to go is during Oktoberfest!
