Glad you ordered in and relaxed. Nice of DH!
As for IUI not working....all I have been thinking is there is just no other outcome than positive. This is my last ditch effort of TTC. No IVF for us. I am 42 and the last 3 plus years of going though infertility has been a rough ride (as you all know). My BF now fiancé proposed about 2 months ago and I'm going to concentrate on planning our wedding. Fingers crossed 2016 I get to be a mom and a wife. ?
Baby4ever- YES! I totally understand. I think that I felt the same way, like the weight was lifted off my shoulders and it was finally "over". DH just consoled me although I'm not sure he understood how I felt. It was like the moment I was waiting for all this time was finally here and everything I've endured was worth it . Transfer day was probably one of the best days that I had... Next will probably be the day I hear the heartbeat for then first time and the day babies born. I soooo look forward to that day!!!
Expecting! Isn't interesting that we women go through so much and when we finally get there it feels like a weight has been lifted off our shoulders?
My dh looked at me and asked what was wrong when he saw me crying and I said it's finally over.
Thank you pmoora! How many days post transfer are you and have you tested or are you waiting for beta?
Tall: That's a new one. I never heard that before. I was eating chicken noodle soup all week for dinner and tonight all of a sudden I started craving pizza. Wanted something salty and cheesy. My dh went and ordered in. I really have to give it to my dh. He took care of dd and everything else until I got back up on my feet.
My RE is a super awesome fellow! There's three of them actually but my original didn't do the ER or Transfer the other guy I like did. I'm glad I switched when I did because I wouldn't be at this point now.
If this IUI doesn't work, are you going to do one more and then IVF or just go straight to IVF?
Oh so glad it went well. Your RE sounds great. BTW I have heard an old wives tale to eat McDonalds fries on day of transfer not sure why (heard the salt helps) but lots people I know on other sites do it BUT a pizza is just as good.
As for the 2WW, girrrrrrrrrl I hear Ya! Lol. Week 1 is always good but gotta keep busy for week 2.
Wishing you all the baby dust!
Thank you ladies for all your support. Hugs all around!!
Soooo, my RE transferred 2 grade A+ embabies. He explained that's the highest quality you could get, but the few other embies need a little more time to catch up so by Tuesday I find out if the rest made it. He also explained to not worry about having anything left over to freeze as it's all about getting pregnant right now...
There's a 30% chance I could end up with twins? The chances of this working look very high!
Drs orders were to take it easy today and resume regular activities tomorrow. So I said I'm going to enjoy this day and eat pizza lol!
You know I didn't think I would be overcome with so much emotion when I got home that I literally balled for hrs. This whole experience has just been emotionally painful but has brought joy in knowing there's a strong possibility this will work!!
Did anyone else get like this after their transfer?
My beta is set for the 17th! Oh how this is going to be the worse tww of my life lol.
I'm 4 days post transfer and knowing me, I'm sure I won't be able to wait!!! I wish I could say that I was a more patient person but I'm not... I'm ready to know that I'm carrying my rainbow baby!!! ;-) ???
Are you going to test or wait?
