Doctor denied birth control, now I'm pregnant!
I called my doctor to refill my prescription and they said I would need to make an appointment, okay so I try to make an appointment but they no longer take my insurance since I'm no longer pregnant.
Let's hope so unless your ready to raise a Lil one. Although they are blessings they can be tons of work. lol..
Good luck on your outcome.
@Beauty_bell I stopped getting my period 2 months after I had DS2 And started The mini pill. so I would always take a pregnancy test to be sure and was always negative till following month after had starting taking my new pills.
Ahh.. I guess everything happens for a reason though. lol..
My grandma asked my mom if I was sure I was taking my birth control when she found out I was pregnant again... All 3 are from failed BC/condom. I had surgery in 2013 (for lady parts) and since then I have become extremely fertile. I wasn't suppose to have kids. But here they are #3 coming early Jan. Crazy how things work out.
As for the pill and starting it again, it's suppose to be a whole month of taking it before they begin to work.
Wow now thats something telling you your meant to be pregnant! Lots of women need to be off the pill for at least a month before their bodies are back to normal. Must be super fertile. Sucks for sure, i swear birth control should be something you can get from a pharmacist, super inconvenient to get it!
Hubby is excited to have another baby I'm the one who was upset. lol.. we used condoms also but I guess it was just meant to happen.
soo getting my tubes tied after this one. lol..
Rule of thumb- call when you get down to about 4 refills left and get the appointment set up for the next month or so. That way you never have to worry. You should never wait until your last pack or two and try to rush in to get a refill. Most offices have at least a short wait list for an appointment, so it's better safe than sorry. Most doctors will not order a refill on a prescription without a visit, even if it hasn't been a full year. If your prescription is running out, they likely want to see you before giving more. This isn't them denying you birth control, it is them making sure you get the medical care you need before just handing over pills. :-)
Keep a pack of morning after pill in the house and/or condoms for emergencies like this. As I'm sure you know sperm can live for 3 or so days inside you, and once you skip a pill you start to ovulate in a lot of cases, so having that extra layer of protection is a wise idea.
Good luck. Congrats.
Thank you!
See that's what I would have thought too. but nope. my year wasn't even up yet, is the sad part. but o'well another bundle of joy, who can complain. lol.
Rule of thumb for future reference, most doctors typically require u to be seen before they renew ur whole prescription for the year. That's why it's important to call about it before u get low on ur birth control. Although, some will give u at least one month's worth to hold u over until ur appointment... mine usually does anyway. That being said, congrats!
I tried refilling my prescription 3 times before they told me u need to make an appointment.
how was it supposed to know my jack ass doctor wasn't going to refill my prescription after doing so for almost a year, n when I had sex I had pills left over and was un aware that I wasn't going to get a refill. hence the fact that I wouldn't let him near me when i didnt have the pill and after starting new pills for at least a week.
If anything I'm the one that's pissed, hubby couldn't be more happier. he wants a big family.
Thanks for your feed back ladies.?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
Adding to what Rose said, there's also non latex condoms & other barrier methods such as a diaphragm/cervical cap, cervical sponges, and spermicides.
