Make up ladies please help. So ive always been a tom boy type of girl. I rarely wear make up and when i do i use the powder stuff. Im light skinned and my face especially my cheeks get red fast so i use the powder to hide it a bit. So i bought this liquid thing to try it and i have no idea how to open it. So i was hoping you ladies can help me. Also what is the difference between foundation and concealer? And is powder or liquid better? Thanks

I actually like that foundation and use it from time to time. Also remember put on moisturizer before putting any product on your face, helps the foundation go on smoother. If need be, I use concealer after, if I have red spots or dark bags from along night. I rarely use it. I let the foundation set for a few mins for it to dry. If you put on powder too soon, it looks cakey. I also use a big powder brush to apply the powder and a slightly wet beauty blender to apply foundation.

Another good brand is Cover Girl Vitalist Elixer. You don't need high end brands to look good. Honestly store brand is really stepping it's game up! I do have high end makeup and store brand. I have found a lot of good dupes that cost waaaaay less. And I have had better luck with store brand foundation.

I use revlon drug store liquid and it's honestly the best foundation I've used. Beats the bigger name brands I've also used before.

Yeah its not a good brand lol. Cheap can be bad for your skin sometimes.

I also wouldn't try to color correct with a color correcting concealer. You'd have to put concealer that matches your skin tone over it and too many people do it wrong. You can try color correcting primer but even then it depends on your skin tone.

I use liquid and a powdered bronzer. I don't prime or any of that shiz

To reduce redness try a color correcting primer or concealer (green will hide the red) use a primer first for a more even application then start with your foundation, concealer is for blemishes and goes on after foundation, then to lock everything in dust lightly with a powder. As far as powder vs liquid neither one is better or worse, just depends on the coverage you're looking for, you can wear powder alone for a more sheer coverage but I always finish my foundation (liquid) with a powder so it stays in place.

Foundation is used all over your face/neck to even out your skin tone and give you coverage. Depending on how much coverage you want you can get anything from light to full coverage. Some foundations are buildable so you can put one layer on for light coverage and keep adding layers depending on how much coverage you want. As for concealer its used to hide blemishes, dark spots or undereye bags. For your undereye area you need a concealer thats a few shades lighter(about 2) and for blemishes you need concealer thats your skin tone. I usually only use the lighter concealer for my undereyes and tzone since my foundation does good at covering any blemishes.

As for liquid or powder being better it depends. Liquid foundation usually works for everyone it just depends on the brand. Some are made for oily skin and others for dry skin. Then theres liquid foundation that is good for both. They also have foundation for people with sensitive skin.

As for powders its only recommended if you have normal, combination or oily skin. If you have dry skin it'll make your face look cakey and it'll enhance your dry spots.

Not sure whats your skin type but since you don't know much about makeup i recommend you start off with bb cream. Theres one called Eborian bb cream and it works great. Theres two tones, one for light skin and one for medium skin. It comes out white and adjusts to your skin tone so you don't have to worry about finding the right shade for your skin tone.

Btw, wet & wild isn't that good. If you want a drugstore foundation try maybelline fit me. They have dewy for dry skin and matte for oily skin.

You broke the cap it just twists off ?

The cap broke, just twist the lid off . there's a wand built in to the lid off this foundation. So just twist it off

I rarely wear make up.

But I use ELF for any redness. They have a specific primer it's only 6$ and a little goes a long way. (It's green in colour )

Then I use Covergirl foundation that comes in a compact thing.

If applied correctly it looks natural (:

It's like a in between, a cream, not powdered but not liquidy.

For redness and spot correction, use concealer. Now, if you mean that your cheeks get red due to sun exposure or heat etc try an anti-redness cream. L'Oreal has one. If you want to go with a higher brand, try IT cosmetics

Side note: I chuckled when typing IT cosmetics cause it reminded me of the clown IT and the pounds of makeup he wears and the red nose ? ok I'm dumb, I know

So, I recently became obsessed with makeup. Wet'n'wild is too "watery" in my opinion. Try NYX!!! Much better quality and cheap too:)

Maybe the cap needs to be turned/screwed? Idk I’ve never used this kind of foundation lol

My facialist told me to use flax seed to help my redness. It shrinks the vessels. I haven't really tried it or researched it but maybe some one else has more insight :)

I'm no make up artist, and I'm not very good at doing make up myself, but i enjoy watching make up tutorials. Foundation is used to even out skin tone. Sometimes we have dark spots, or white ones, even redness in some areas. Concealer is used to cover up under eye dark circles, acne, acne scars, areas that need full coverage.

Powder foundation alone can look very cakey, especially around dry areas. It is recommended to use liquid, and then a little bit of powder to set the liquid foundation into place.

I've never used that foundation, so i dont know how it opens either. Lol im thinking the top was supposed to be attached to that, but it broke off? I think my friend had one, and all she did was twist it.

Hi kitty, so I'm probably not the most knowledgeable when it comes to make up, but i try! I don't ever use powder alone. I first use the liquid foundation and then set it with powder. Concealer goes under your eyes or any where you would like brightened. It is usually a shade or two lighter than foundation. If you're trying to conceal blemishes - Use the same color.

Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill? He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over tonight and run it by him...
