I dont think its scabies. They would be on the fingers, wrists, toes, and so on before the neck and shoulder. They dont look like the pics on google all the time. The rash you get is an allergic reaction to the eggs and bugs and each person responds differently. Google shows worst case scenario of having them for a year, not what the early stages look like. There are also two types.

I would check the bedding for black dots, though i dont think its bed bugs either.

Could be heat rash, allergy, dermatitis, or a viral infection that causes a rash. I have no idea. Looks like heat rash or something. Id try benedryl for 24 hrs and if its still bothering you while taking it, it could be a type of mite or poison oak/ivy. If it gets worse at night- could be scabies. Benedryl wont help with scabies or dermatitis. Not at night.

The fact you both have it though- i think you should see the dr and confirm.

Btw, some people are allergic to calamine lotion so if you are using it to treat a rash, it can make it worse.

I googled scabies and my bumps do not look like that. Or might just be cause its starting but should i go to a normal doctor or would this be for a dermatologist to look at?

Scabies

I do have a new detergent but i have had it for a while now. Could it start a while after using it?

I looked kinda like that when I had an allergic reaction to tide laundry detergent- it got much redder in the sunlight

My SO thinks its a rash or mosquito bites but i do not know anymore. ?

I do not get red lines,flaking, and i do not itch during the night or in the heat it is just when my clothes rub or when i randomly scratch. Also i do not have a bath tub.

Been in a hot tub recently? Could be folliculitis. You'd need a dermatologist or GP.

With scabies you may also see red lines on your body. They will come and go. Scabies create burrows and lay eggs. You may also have white flaking of the skin.

Its either scabies or bed bugs I had scabies once a friend of mine came and stayed one night on the couch me and my daughter both got it I was pissed we had to throw the couch out

How long have you had this? Usually scabies itches worse at night and in the heat.

It itches at anytime of the day usually more when it rubs my clothes or anything then i can't stop scratching. I have never heard of scabies sounds kind of serious.

Also if it's scabies it's highly contagious. When you get treated your so needs to be treated at the same time. You will need to treat your entire house and car. Wash everything in hot water and dry at the hottest setting. Whatever you can't wash you will need to put in a sealed bag. There is a spray that is used for bed bugs that you can get at Walmart. The ingredients in the spray is the same that kills scabies. They also hate pine sol.

I would also say scabies. Go see your regular doctor. If it's scabies, they'll give you a medicated lotion to put on your skin. I believe you'll have to wash your bedding and such really well, in hot water.
