Okay so I worked at a place called Lenny’s sub shop when I was younger. I think I was 20. Anywho I was a shift manager so I was there 24/7. I lived in diamondhead at the time and it was once a retirement community. So the guests who came in were our regulars. I knew what people were going to order when they walked in the door. There was a guy named victor he had to be in his 30’s. He used to always come in with a guy he worked with so over time I remembered his order also and would just type it in and give him his ticket to pay. He’d go sit down and I’d bring him his food. Well one day a girl who previously worked there was bored and I guess browsing Craigslist. She found an ad that was titled: to the girl that works at Lenny’s in diamondhead. Then it said something like I come in there all the time. I always get the same thing. You always bring me my food. You have a tattoo on your left wrist and I have a tattoo on my shoulder. I know you’ve seen it before. I think you’re so beautiful and I don’t know how to tell you because I’m shy. Please give me a chance. Reply to this ad describing my tattoo so I know it’s really you.

She called my friend who worked with me and told me about it. I was the only girl who worked there who had a tattoo on their left wrist and I knew exactly who it was bc I remember one time I brought him his food and his had his sleeve lifted up like showing off his tattoo. I was like holy s*** it’s that guy victor. So after that I would avoid him. Anytime I’d see him coming I’d run to the back.

I was actually pregnant at the time to. So fast forward about a year later. I moved outside of diamondhead and live in the middle of no where and decided to get a job at the grocery store by my house. We had a deli that served hot food and he freaking came in there one day. Of course he came to my register and brought up the Craigslist ad. He was like so I guess you know that ad was about you. I was like yeahhh I did. He’s like sorry for being weird I just think you’re so beautiful and I’d treat you so good. I’m shy I didn’t know how to tell you. I told him sorry I’m in a relationship. Don’t forget your fork, have a nice day. He forgot the fork and came back and was like sorry I was distracted by your face. Then he started coming in there everyday I worked and would always come to my register, even if I had a line he’d wait.

Don't text him. Texting him means letting him have your number and that's not what you want. Either ignore the note or just let him know you are not interested if he approaches you.

I would not text him! Then he will have your number. I’d copy the letter to have your employer file “just in case.” How gross of him.

I had a similar thing happen. A random guy I’d never seen left his business card (car dealer) on my car at the gym and asked me to text him. I looked him up; yeah, GIRLFRIEND. I didn’t need a car or a cheater, so I tossed it.

I’d just quick text him you’re happily with someone and to leave you alone. Also, I’d let your superior know so they can keep an eye out for this guy. Sounds creepy

I had a coworker send me an email about how he was sitting outside one Friday night thinking about me. We were always friendly, he was the phys ed teacher and I love working out and all, so we got along easy enough. I initially ignored the email until he sent another saying he hoped he didn’t make me feel uncomfortable. I’m not good at shooting people down, exactly, so the next time I saw him I told him it was very flattering, but I’m married and not unfaithful. (He’s married and I totally could have been a b**** - but I really didn’t want an uncomfortable work environment). If you aren’t going to address it, I would just continue being pleasant and pretend it was never there ?‍♀️ totally a pig, but that’s not new. They’re all over.

I wouldn’t mention his wife cause of what pp said, he has been watching you & you don’t know what he’s capable of especially since he so openly and outright left you a love letter. I also wouldn’t say you never received it as he could’ve been watching you, but that’s up to you I guess.

I would just put a ring on my finger and say my boyfriend of eight years gave me a promise ring when I gave birth to my daughter a few months ago. Make it real clear to him and hopefully he backs off.
