Well it started out with an ultrasound I had last week. They said I had A LOT of amniotic fluid (levels at 36 when they are not supposed to be over 20). Then they said my baby is big for being 34 weeks (6 lbs 1 ounce). I don't have gestational diabetes even though those are signs. I did a 24 hr urine collection and had protein in my urine. Now I have elevated blood pressure that won't get back to normal. They sent me to the hospital to check on my baby and monitor blood pressure. It went down a little bit, but is still high. I don't have preeclampsia yet, but it may develop so I guess that's why they want me on bed rest.

I'm seeing my doctor again Monday so I'm hoping he makes it modified bed rest where I can actually do things around the house. ?

I'm sorry hear you're on bedrest! I hope you don't go too stir crazy.

If you don't mind me asking, what put you on bedrest? I've seen posts about it but wondered what sends moms to be to need bedrest.

@skate, thank you! Everything seems fine and I have an extra ultrasound on Monday. I think she is fine and it's just me that is deteriorating lol.

I did a lot of crafting, reading, watching Netflix. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. After a couple of weeks with a reflux newborn, I kind of wanted to go back on bed rest!

I ordered so much crap from Amazon. Sent half of it back but it was like a present from myself every day ?

I packed baby's bag for the hospital, my bag, SOs bag. I made lists of everything I was able to do and did it every single day. I took a lot of baths. Did my nails several times. Cried. Slept. Got ready even though I couldn't facking go anywhere. Binge watched shows on the Flix.

That would so be me on bedrest lol calling my mom all day ? I already call all the time now when I'm supposed to be working

Netflix and crafting would probably be your best bet. Maybe crochet or knitting for the baby? I hope you and baby are doing okay.

I'm on bed rest for the remaining 14 weeks if my pregnancy too. I have no idea what to do with myself. By day 5 I did everything already. I am not a t.v. watcher and read a fair bit. I'm losing my mind.

Same as AZN, Netflix and BB is what got me through bedrest. I also called my mom every 5 mins just to talk for half hour because I was bored

Have you watched Queen of the south? My current obsession ? It's on netflix

Do u like to read books?!?? Or magazines? I can read people mag from cover to cover lol. And they have good crossword puzzles they don't make me feel stupid lol.

Get into a series on Hulu or Netflix. I can suggest some of you are a little lost about what to watch.
