The "chuck it" vs "chunk it" thing still has me confused. I think if I actually heard someone say that all the time I'd become annoyed.

The "I could care less" thing is definitely annoying to me.

When people use the incorrect version of a word. I.E. There, their, they're, woman vs women etc. The number of times that I've seen "She is a very nice women" is just insane. The their/there/they're I can sometimes understand, but when to use woman/women is not that hard lol. Also, when people say "I seen ______"

Drives me up a wall! ?

When someone says "I was getting off the car..." like what? Getting off the car? Were you on top of it? No. Then you were getting OUT of the car. ?

It makes me cringe when people refer to their kids as Her's or Him's. For example "Her's so cute with that bow" or "Him's loves mommy" AHHHHH!

When lil Wayne says "tunchi" sp? I don't mind him but that word makes me want to bash my head into a wall.

When I see ATM machine. That means you're saying automatic teller machine machine.

Swerve- I still don't get what it means.

Hunnit

Shawty

Hella

Fam

When someone refers to everyone close to them as their cousin. "Cuz" my friend says everyone is her cuz. I don't know who she's actually related to.

This is a little off topic but I saw a picture on fb of this conversation where this girl said "I just ate a hal and peenyo." And the person replied "f*ck off." because of how she spelt jalapeño. I lost it. I thought it was hilarious. ?

Anything 'new age' or whatever they're calling it nowadays.

1. Hunty (what? What is that)

2. Child Boo (i have no idea...)

3. Fam

4. Mans

5. Swag

6. Hunnit (i suppose that's how one would spell 100 in slang)

Soooo many more! And btw, how do you actually pronounce Issa? What is it? Is it 'it's a', 'I'z a' (not even a word) I keep seeing it and i have no idea what it means or how people use it. It drives me up a wall.

I'm with @ashton, "Issa" is so damn annoying. ? With that being said, calling someone good looking a "snack" also irks me. So when I see someone caption their pic or comment "Issa snack" (which is dailyyyy) I just ????? so hard.

I have another one

When someone uses "sweetie", "honey", or any other term of endearment in a condescending way. Usually from one woman to another, in a disagreement of sorts.

Can't take anything they say seriously after that.

Agree with pp, I would like a drinking game where you watch an episode of the kardashians and every time they say 'like' you take a shot.

Or this new thing of saying 'i feel like' before almost any sentence.

'I feel like you always have tuna'

'I feel like I haven't been on a bus in years'

Is it? Is that what you feel like??????

When the word salty is used, not in food conversation.

I.e "I'm so salty today"

Also hate the on fleek, lit, turnt slang. Like what happened to just saying "your makeup looks SO GOOD today" or "that party was so crazy/fun". ? makes me cringe all the time when I see phrases like that used.

Even worse that I am the same age as the ones using these terms and I dont understand what 99% of them mean. Lol

Could of / would of instead of could have / would have

Where I used to live people used to say "darl" instead of darling ?

It's not a saying but when people say "like" all the time. Every other word, drives me crazy!

Also when people say literally wrong and they obviously don't know what it means. For example. "I literally died laughing so hard." Umm no you didn't, or you would be dead lol.

'It is what it is'. Is it?! IS IT?! What a useless phrase.

"Keep calm and _____."

"Boys will be boys."

"Squad goals." ?

Ответить

It's not a phrase but "youse" drives me crazy (plural of "you" if you live in certain areas or sometimes if you are Italian). Like "youse guys". Literally makes my skin crawl. And my in laws use it ALL the time. My husband pulls it out once and a while too.

ETA- pronounced "use".

Ответить

'Mines' frigging 'mines' isn't a flipping word!

'Squad goal' what in the heck? Everytime I hear squad I think of a squid.

'Feeling some type of way' what type of way? Are you angry? Are you sad? What type of way!

'Lit' again, what in the heck?

Just GRRRR?

Or when people say wut instead of 'what', misspelling words because it's cool. How about I throw a dictionary your way. I get it we all misspell sometimes, and use improper grammar. But doing it on purpose kills me.

Eta: 'you know what I'm saying.' No i have no idea what your saying at all, I just heard the words come out of your mouth and have no frigging idea what they mean! !!
