I’m so sorry!

This happened with my youngest son’s first birthday too.

I spent a lot of money on decorations, invites, even rented out a pavilion. My dad made this amazing Disney Planes cake. No one showed up. Just a few family members.

People can’t be bothered to even rsvp nowadays.

@glam I've decided I'm not even inviting anyone for my youngest's first. It's gonna be me, daddy, sissy and poppop if he's doing better. They can ask but I'm deffinitly not planning for more than 4 people.

We let her have extra cake to make up for everything. And daddy is staying the night with her and taking her out tomorrow.

Aw your poor baby. I can’t imagine trying to explain to my daughter why no one showed up to her birthday party. I hate people that flake out, especially on children :(

@georgie she deffinitly did. She got so many star wars themed items. I'll bake her the cake and cupcakes later cause my dad bought one because he had to leave for medical stuff.

That’s so crappy? I’m sorry, last year I put together such a cute party for my kiddos and one friend showed up out of the 10 I invited. I felt bad but my kids had a good time and we made memories without anyone else. I know exactly how you feel.
