It's their mentality man, super annoying. And like the food thing, it was last night with my cousins wife. She has 2 nephews so she must know everything.

But my "aunt" is just a judgemental, gold digging batch. So I don't pay her any attention half the time.

Omg @five im the same way and i dont let my nephew stay over at my house. I have 2 dd's and will have 2 ds's by the end of next month. My neohew is 9 yo th same age as my oldest dd ummm.... no! Ill pass... smh. Its bad enough my nephew is exposed to alot of inappropriate behavior at his dads and the internet.

I JUST last week bought a stroller for my 17 month old for our vacation next month and I only did it because im pregnant and not sure I can pack her around all day long for a week!

We made it well past a year without a stroller and shes been hiking, to museums... you name it!

The latest: that I don’t let my kids do sleep overs.

First of all, my kids my rules. Second of all it’s not anyone’s place to question my parenting if I’m not abusing my kids. Thirdly when I was a kid, a lot of veeeeerry sketchy things went down at sleep overs and I’m not willing to expose my kids to the same kinds of situations let alone at 5 and 3

@ttdub- my sister has never owned a crib, either. Mine was pretty much a safe bed for my cats where the kids couldn’t poke their eyes!!!

Ive never owned a crib and never owned a regular stroller. I have a jogging one that my son loved cause I would push him in it and rollerblade.

People always question how I'm able to do anything (museum trips, zoo, concerts, etc.) Without a stroller.

I just laugh at them. ?

You care too much. I just shrug off anything anyone says in ignorance.

People are always gonna judge you for something. Just keep doin what you’re doin. A lot of it is literally ignorance. They aren’t up to date on the current research or because they chose to do things differently they think their way is the best and only way. Don’t let it ruin your vacation. Enjoy yourself :)
