@Vee, I mix my own dye sometimes so the results are rarely ever the fact color (except the top and left). The right one was with a tad more magenta mixed in.
I use ION/ION Color Brilliance. You can find it at Sally's Beauty Supply. And I do recommend bleaching first. Depending on the level of bright you want the hair.
Eta: I think I was about a dirty blonde with the top color.

Brights - Fuchsia
Brights(Neon) - Radiant Orchid
Are what you should look at.
I usually mix:
Brights - Magenta and Brights - Lavender
Brights - Fuchsia and Brights - Magenta
All ION, brights is just the ' color' group.

About 4 months, washing hair every other days. Could extend to 6 months if you wash with colder water.
