Understandable if that were the reason lol, but they are the buses to the hospital, which is two blocks away, sadly.

They turned them into expedited buses for the game. So people attending use them.

Not the normal public who normally use them.

It's very common for public transportation to close down during major event like the super bowl, fear of terrorist attacks.

@nwil, yeah lol. They're going overboard for the superbowl. Anyone who uses the train to get to work on a Sunday is sol. Along with any bus that is in the surrounding area from what I've heard so far.

@momma i get that. They did built it on one of the busiest streets which diverts traffic to the already busy street Hennepin though. It's back to back traffic practically all day right now. And it's not even construction teams building. It's superbowl workers.

I was an hour late home, even leaving 30mins early. Then it's check point after check point to walk anywhere ???

I don't even get why they're building it. There's literally so much random stuff. I can honestly say, this city is majorly money hungry.

I’m not from your area but I just came to say I’m sorry for the inconvenience but my husband and I are in construction. New buildings and the like are what puts food on our table. Hopefully your day to day isn’t effected too much

I work the whole superbowl ? but I'm close enough to where this is getting in the way of everyday life. Just glad I'm not pregnant because my hospital is 2 blocks away from the stadium

@pp I used to live over south lol so that was so much closer. Like the moa setup is outrageous too. Im moving to Coon Rapids but staying at a friend's currently. And getting from rapids to the mall will be torture.

We are totally avoiding Minneapolis for the next week and a half lol we live just south of the cities and go to Minneapolis often, but they are doing too much right now!

@ss3 a snow slope, I think. They're still building it. They are doing too much man. They just finished our main bus Street in November. And got everyone back on schedule, to block off that entire stretch again. Public trains stop at 5am too.
