@mnb, true lol. I just got her to wear her Chewbacca mask after 2 years of screaming bloody murder if she saw it. (I put it on the baby ??? instantly okay with it after that).

For the first couple of birthdays I done favorite cartoon characters as themes (princess, ice age, cars, spongebob), now since older I do color themes, well for dd anyways. Ds -we plan vacations around his birthday and do generally beach themed to match vacation.
