Id say about 28 out of the 24 hours in a day for the first 4 months and then every hour for 38.7 mins per feeding from 4-11 months then 85 gallons of milk and water a day and half a bit of toast that has all of the toast removed per week from 12 months to about 3.5 years and then about the equivalent of a whole foot ball team from 4yrs- 18 years.
@shayy as long as she’s back to her birth weight you can let her sleep. I wish I didn’t wake mine up for so long. She was a great sleeper but then I got her used to waking up.

Thank you gals.
She gained her birth weight back within the first week.
I'll keep doing feedings on demand.

On demand.

If she's gained her birth weight back there's no reason to wake her up to eat. I breastfeed on demand. He usually nurses every 2-3hrs.

as often as they are hungry. There is no perfect schedule. The baby decides when they are hungry, not the clock.

@Canadian that's what I'm currently doing, have to wake her during the nights though. She'd sleep all night if she could but she's only 2w

I didn't believe in a "schedule" to feed my baby. I always fed him when he was hungry. I never waited past 3ish hours unless it was at night

@mamabird Breast milk

She’s 4 months and eats every 3 hours. Sometimes she gets hungry at 2.5 and I’ll feed her. She’s on a schedule but we are flexible with it. She’s ebf.

I breast fed my ds on demand, if he didn't ask for it before 3 hrs I fed him anyway, but usually he wanted it before 2 hrs....

Every baby is different. Too many factors. This is a hard question to answer.

Breastmilk or formula?
