Im Pretty Sure It Depends On Your Doctor, Yours And Baby's Health My Sister Went All The Way To 42 Weeks And Then Got Induced Since She Had No Progress

SO was 42w 3d I believe is what my MIL said. SIL had hers at 42w.

I was trying to aim close to a day SO has off so he can watch dd but they gave me Friday or Monday knowing I want to go the longest I can to go natural. I'll be 42w on a Friday, and they said they felt plenty of fluid around baby. Idk,maybe its just cause it wasn't my main midwife, but this was my birth plan from the start, off its safe I want to go longer, if it's not I'm fine going early.

My bil was 43 weeks, hes a lazy little snowflake but normal

You are safe to go past 42wks provided your NST's come back fine. Your due date is just an estimate. The "risks" they worry about are literally only 1% higher than if you were induced. Have a read of the cohrane review about inductions. This is what doctors make there guidelines from and this is there findings.

It better ??? I've literally done 10+ mile walks /bike rides trying to get this stubborn little girl out for the past week.

Super crampy right now but I know it's probably just from the sweep. I forgot where I was but she said I was stretching an extra centimeter while she did the sweep so she did it a little longer. And thinks I should have her before my induction.

I'm just like ugh 41 why, SIL and MIL both got to go to 42. I have my NST Friday at 10 and induction scheduled for 8am Monday.

Had another sweep today, and she said she doesn't think I'll make it to my induction. Hoping she's right, I'm in a ton of pain

I asked my doc and he said at 41w we'd consider induction because the placenta and uterus are wearing down (calcifying maybe?) And the risks of keeping baby in vs having him out inverse at the 41w mark.

That's about all I've got! So if doc says its time to induce I trust his judgement. He's been a great OB ?

I went 42 weeks with my first daughter, had her two days after my induction.

Well they wanted it Friday but I talked then into Monday :/

My midwife as well wouldn't talk about inducing until I went over 41 weeks. So hopefully little guy comes out soon Im berly over due now as well.

Hoping to get it scheduled just before the 42w mark. This girl is so stubborn, I had her sister on her due date and she's all like "I'm coming...sike".

My doctor wouldn't even schedule me until after 41 weeks. Thankfully my water broke at 41 weeks but I was still induced because contractions weren't starting

I think it depends on you and your Dr. I have a friend who is at 43 weeks.

My doctor induced me at 41+5. She said it's not safe to go past 42 weeks.

My doctor would let you go 10 days over. Usually after a week they’ll do a NST and see how baby is doing and how your placenta is doing.
