Scariest situation you've been in??
I'm bored and can't sleep for s***. So story time?
I was probably 18. I had just gotten into a huge fight with my pos bf and he dropped me at home. Of course I was a stupid crazy kid and decided it would be a good idea to walk to his house (about a 15-20 minute walk) in the dark of night while crying hysterically. Makes no sense after he just dropped me off but I was young and in love. Gag. So while walking there (opposite oncoming traffic like a smart girl) a car slowed down right in front of me and stayed there. So I bolted across the street (5 lanes) and started walking opposite traffic again towards home. He whipped his car back and forth following me at least three times before he finally gave up. Scary as hell! I was calling my bf the whole time crying, he never answered. What a mess. Thank God that man gave up.
I hit a deer when I was like 21. Luckily I had just left work (at an animal hospital at that lol) anyway the deer literally hit right in front of my face on the windshield. If I was driving a little faster the deer would have come right through the windshield. The deer got up and ran away. Sheriff was called and they shot him once he got up and ran away then they shot him again. Then they loaded him into the back of a truck and drove him right past me!! I was crying so hard because they had to kill him. I wasn’t hurt but was certainly in shock
@feeney oh gosh, I'm glad you left him. I would've broken a window to get out of there ???
This was pretty scary for me.
I was with me ex husband and we were at a bar. I started chatting with this guy (just friendly convo) and he was talking about world war z just coming out. I was like omg I've been wanting to see it how is it etc. well well later that night ex comes to me and says hey that guy (says his name but I forgot) asked me if we wanted to chill at his house and watch world war z. I said Um ok. So we get to his house and he says his roommate is a pilot and never in town so we didn't have to be quiet. He then started acting weird. Like trying to get me to do shots one right after another. I knew my limit and started to refuse. He became angry and kept bugging me to take shots. He then said we could stay in his room if we get too drunk. I started to feel uncomfortable with him. Like he had other plans. He would get up when I got up and immediately stand blocking the walkway to the front door. Well I went to use the restroom and splashed my face and noticed a camera on the light. Like wtf. I just stood in there. (My phone was dead) then I heard the guy yell outside the door "are you going to go or what?" I started freaking out. I came out and he said my dh left me there. He then started to try to convince me to stay and that he'd take care of me. So I asked him to pour shots so we could party some more and the second he went into the kitchen I ran for the door and just kept running. Dh took MY (only car we had and he couldn't drive) car home. I just kept running and recognized the area and found my friends house. Their parents answered and I explained. My friend came home later and freaked when I told her. They had me sleep there that night.
I don't know what that guy was planning but I felt sick to my stomach. I had a bad feeling he wanted to harm me.
This happened back in 5th grade. I was spending the night at a friends house, along with my bff. This was the first and last time I ever spent the night with this girl. So its late at night, way past our bedtime and the three of us are up playing games. All of a sudden this girls dog (who is outside) starts barking. We stopped playing to listen because he sounded so aggressive. This girl lives in a neighborhood so we figured he was just barking at someone. All of a sudden the dog yelps, there is a gurgle sound, and then silence. The three of us look at each other like wtf just happened... and then freaked out! We tried calling for her parents since we was too scared to leave her room but they never answered. We finally calmed down, about an hour later, and went to sleep. Woke up the next morning and found out the dog is gone. We told her parents what happened and they didn't believe us since there was no signs of blood or that someone took the dog. I can still hear the noise we heard and it gives me the creeps.
When I was 4 I used to go to my great grandmother's house all the time and the neighbor had a pool while me and her were swimming and I forgot my towel at the house I ran back to my grandma's house to get a towel and while running through the garage I went to go push open the glass door and went right through it it was horrible blacked out right around the house three times came to went to the hospital and how to get 75 stitches all together one of the first Vivid memories I remember
When I was around 12/13 years old, every once in a while my parents would go out while I watched my 8 year old sister. One night while they were out, I heard a knock on the door. It was around 9 pm and dark out, but I looked out the peephole and it looked like a man and a woman standing outside the door. Then the creepy part is they wiggled the door handle to see if it was unlocked. Super freaked out, I sneaked to make sure the back door was locked and hid my sister in our room. My parents didn't have a cell phone, so I had the phone ready to call the police if they didn't leave. Luckily they left about 10 mins later.
A few days later, my parents received a hand written note in our mailbox. I can't remember exactly what it said, but something along the lines of, "we like to watch your little girl with the braids playing in the yard. We would like to take that sweet girl home with us." They we're talking about my little sister. My parents contacted the police of course and I gave my description of the couple I saw, but they were never found. My parents were extremely cautious after that and luckily nothing else happened.
About three years ago my boyfriend and I were living in West Hollywood (about a mile from Beverly Hills so you can understand how nice of a place we 'thought' this was) so anyways my SO does music and he's down stairs with two of his friends working on some beats and I'm in the front yard with my two dogs at the time, the front yard was extremely small, imagine a gate and walking about 10 steps to the front door. So I hear a knock on the front gate and I look and it's a delivery man, I hadn't ordered anything but I figured my SO and his friends had, so I open the door. All of a sudden a tall figure rushes towards me (which happens to be a super tall guy in a hoodie). He has a gun in his hand and orders me to the ground, I'm in shock.. I can't even tell you guys how scared I was I just froze. But anyways he starts asking me all kinds of questions about who's in the house, where the money is, if there's weapons with the gun to the back Of my head & at this time another guy comes in and zip ties me and screams at me to not look at his face (these idiots didn't even have masks or anything on). Long story short my boyfriend and his friends come out the front door because they hear my dogs going crazy and end up beating the living s*** out of the dude in the hoodie (the other guy took off running). He ended up leaving his gun, zip ties, and his sweatshirt. I had to ID him and testify in court... he received 13 years in prison
Here's anotherb one. It's my reasoning behind my fear of clowns and why I was terrified of IT.
We just moved to mn,and we stayed at my aunts house that had a week left on their rent. I was 4 and upstairs alone taking a bath. My mom was cooking and my brother was in the living room sleeping. I saw the door open and thought nothing of it. Peeked from behind the curtain again and bam, there was a creepy asz clown, long nails and creepy parrot on their shoulder. It felt like he was staring into my soul. I got the courage to scream. My mom ran upstairs and it disappeared. She said it was my dad or uncle. 10mins later they both walked in the front door. Called my grandma to bless the house and we never went back.
Stayed in their new houses basement, I always had the same strange feeling but never saw anything. (Somebody had killed themselves in the basement, realitor didn't disclose it)
When I was a teenager I was home alone. Both my parents worked nights. I was flicking thru the channels when the phone rang. So I answered it and a strange voice told me what I was watching on t.v. so I checked the t.v. guide as I didn't know what was on the t.v because I had just been flicking thru the channels. They knew what I was watching. I was so scared. I grabbed a metal bar and locked all the doors and called my brother and his friend to come over.
My dad bought me and my sister a house to live in, we went out clubbing one night and I felt sick so went home early without her, I put myself to bed and woke up to a really loud bang, heard voices so just thought my sister came home and had met her boyfriend so that must have been who she was talking to, anyway I fell straight back to sleep, no idea how much time passed but my sister woke me up shouting at the bottom of the stairs, when I looked around my bedroom lamp had been turned off and my bedroom door closed (I NEVER close my bedroom door), our front door had been kicked in and we had been robbed, they took a lot! They must have gone upstairs and seen me fast asleep in bed, turned my lamp off and shut the door to drown the noise out, that could have been a WHOLE other situation if they had realised I was in the house and wanted to keep me quiet ?
Years ago, I was walking to the car garage after a concert in Cleveland. A "normal" looking guy caught me on the way out & asked if I enjoyed it, who I was there to see, blah blah small talk. So it's late at night, I finally find the car garage (I was lost... young & dumb ?) & I look behind me & see that the guy was walking in. He stood outside of the garage and looked both ways... now I realize he was making sure no one else was coming. So I think my car is high up, I'm walking on the 3rd level, look back... there he is, walking behind me still. So I can't find my car. Get up to the top, it's not there, so I go to get on the elevator to go down. The door opens, there he is. I was so dumb... I was freaking out on the inside but I got in the elevator ?. I go to push a button and he yells at me to not touch anything. I blatantly ignore him, pretend to make a call to my "bf"... and I said " ok so your waiting right outside the elevator I'm coming down now" this obviously made dude re think the situation. The door opens. I take off sprinting & he's running behind me. I see a group of men, run up to them. And tell them I need help, I'm being followed. It's scary to think what he was going to do. I still wonder.
Another one... I used to be heavy into drugs... I've seen a lot of terrible things. My boyfriend at the time over dosed in my car. I was screaming for him to wake up.. slapping him.. called 911. They brought him back. This also happened to my best friend at the time. She over dosed and was turning purple. Thank you lord I no longer live that life. So many traumatizing experiences .
@Karen we have two outside sales reps in Mexico. Everyone in the company drives the same truck. These guys were both pulled over by the cartel, separate instances in the same week, brought to the desert, stripped naked, had a gun to the back of their heads and told to say a prayer. For whatever reason, they were let go and had to wonder the desert, while naked, to find help. They now drive regular cars.
I'm from Canada-I was 12, went to Mexico for a sporting event that I was involved in. We had a day off to tour, and my mom was with me along with 2 other kids my age. We went to a small town that happened to have a big festival so all the locals there were wearing masks and carrying things like racquets/oars/bats etc. They beckoned me to come take a picture with them, and my mom let me go stand with them. There were 2 men standing on either side of me and they linked arms with me, so as soon as my mom lifted up her camera, they pulled me behind the crowd and started dragging me away. I don't remember anything else except me reaching out for my mom and she finally pushed her way through the crowd and grabbed my arm and pulled me back to her. We still have that photo and every time I see it, I think about how I was this close to being kidnapped in Mexico.
One time I was with my 'friend'. I was 16 and she was like 21. She had some guys come over (they ended up being gang bangers) I guess it was a rule that after a fight they had to 'merk' which is to have sex. They got into a fight at the club and came over to her house. She and her dude went into the bedroom. So I was stuck out in the living room with the rest of the guys. I was terrified. One guy took me into the bedroom and sat on my chest and took his dick out. He told me to suck it. I told him if he puts it any closer I'll bite it off. So he backed off and left me alone. Another guy trapped me in the corner by the refrigerator and tried kissing me (I had my teeth clenched closed he was licking my teeth!) so I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in. Some how that guy opened the door and turned off the lights, I swear he was going to try to rape me. Her little brother(my age) ended up coming over and got me out of the bathroom because he could hear the guy threatening me. We ended up walking the streets all night until they all left. I lived too far to walk home.
I stopped hanging out with her after that. But I was so scared.
Another time I was working at Taco Bell and a guy robbed us at gun point. Was stupid because he only got $40. I was 19.
~When I was younger we lived on an Indian burial ground.. A lot of strange things would happen.. One night me, my mom, my brothers and my step dad were all playing cards (rummy to be exact), well my brother lays down 6*6*6, and our phone starts ringing (mind you our phone was shut off at the time)..we all looked at each other confusingly and my brother answers it, somebody was on the other end but not like a human, it sounded like alien voices, so he handed it to my mom, she listened for a sec and was like "woah that's weird and hung up". We continued playing and it rang again, same thing happened.. So my brother unplugged it, a few hands later my step dad lays down 6*6*6 and it rings again, (it was unplugged), my brother threw his cards and said "I'm done", we were all with him!! It was creepy!
~ (Same house) We had like an Atari or something in the shed unplugged and it would start going off and making noise!
~(Same house) My cousin lived behind us and one day she comes running to our house with her daughter in her hand (who was about 10 months), and said that she was in the bathroom doing her hair and she heard my cousin (her daughter Taylor) babbling, so she turned around to look at her (she was playing on the floor behind her), well Taylor was just looking up like she was talking to someone! She didnt think anything of it and started doing her hair again, thatd when an old lady appeared in the mirror behind her.. She grabbed Taylor and ran to our house!
~(Same house) I had this dog for years and he was a beagle with something else mixed, I think Terrior. He was the sweetest dog ever. Well one day he comes from the woods with some sort of bone eating it.. My uncle swore it looked like pelvic bone. A few weeks later he did the same thing this time it was meat/flesh, so I tried to get him off of it and he looked at me with the most evil possessed face I've ever seen, and attacked my face. He bit me from my chin to my eye. I fell over crying and my mom ran out to see what was going on and she said it looked like a woman's thigh.
~(Same dog) found another bone in the woods and when my chiaua (sp?) Came near him he attacked him leaving a tumor on his brain..
~(Same place) My cousin also had a dog that went crazy and killed her other dog :(
That place had a lot of scary things going on!! I hated it, my cousin had a room in her house that would stay pitch black and cold!! She never used it, it was the most eerie place ever. Still to this day we all talk about how we hated living there!! None of us felt comfortable, and when her husband was at work she would sit outside or walk to our house, she never wanted to be alone after what we all experienced!!
More than 10 years ago my sister, cousins and some friends went to Mexico, we went to a theme park, to dinner and we were on our way to Dave & Buster's when we got pulled over by "the cops". They started questioning us alot and we don't even know why but they took us in! They started searching our car and said there was drugs in the car (which was a lie) they told us we would never see our families again and would keep us hostage until we said the truth. They took us to a hospital to get a drug test(I don't understand why), I remember telling the nurse to help us and let us use their phone but they would ignore us! We were in the police station for what seemed an eternity. Finally they let us women leave but left my cousin's husband there for a couple of days. He say's they had him in a dark room tied to a chair! I have never been so afraid for my life, I remember thinking how my mom was going to deal with losing two of her daughters!
@zelda, being robbed is super traumatic. I worked at a gas station that closed at 10pm every night and I was always left alone to lock up. Almost got robbed once but I ran inside and locked the doors, we had 20mins left till closing and all week a huge group was scouting out the place.
Off topic: I keep on wanting to put "link" instead of Zelda lol
@jenro, oh gosh. This is why I stay up all night till it's light. I live in a townhouse. Keep the front screen door locked, and the back door is below me. I went to bed one night, made sure everything was locked. It was about 3-4am but still dark. SO got home around 8am, woke me up and said "did you forget to lock the door? " i started freaking, I ran down a level to make sure my daughter was okay. Nothing was missing but I can no longer sleep at night.
I was like 9 years old and my mum sent me to the store down the road. This was entirely normal for a kid my age in my neighborhood.
Any way, I was about to cross the road when a car turned into the side road and the driver of the car gave me the strangest look. It was a middle aged man. At 9 years old I didn't understand why he was looking at me like that but at my age now I can 100% say he was looking at me sexually. He then pulled up and beckoned for me to come to his car. I was about to go as I assumed it was completely innocent being so naive but then my mums voice rang in my head and all I could hear her saying was 'do not go over there'. Instead, I ran home.
I believe God saved myself from some serious shat.
My mom and dad weren't together so I spent some weekends with my mom then my dad.. Well at that time my mom lived in a apartment with a friend.. It was a three story building. She lived in the second, the landlord on the first and the third floor was blocked off.. There had been a fire I think a year before we moved in and supposedly a man die.. Well one day we were all in the kitchen when we hear knocking on the front door. My mom goes and sees and there was no one.. Then we hear a knock on the back door. My mom checks again nothing. As we all sit down again there were knocking on both doors at the same time in the front and the back. Her friend answer the back and my mom the front.. No one was there.. No sound of someone going down th stairs either ... By this time I'm scare and crying.. Then out of no where the water from the bathroom sink turns on.. We were just two feet away from the bathroom and we knew no one was inside .. I'm crying by this time I was like 7 at the time and my mom made me close the water.. I left that night to my dad's but that house was scary.. We had the knocking accident happened more than once and the water will turn on and off.. It was weird thankfully my mom moved a month after that..
Growing up, I was in Girl Scouts. Every summer all the Girl Scouts from our county went camping for a weekend. We would rent out a campground just for all of us. One year when I was maybe 14 or 15, my friend and I got to have a tent to ourselves because none of the other girls from our group could go (our leader was sharing a tent with another leader. We decided we wanted to put our tent kind of away from everyone else's so we could have some privacy. In the middle of the night I needed to go to the bathroom so she said she would walk with me. The bathrooms were across the campground from our tent. As we are walking back we hear a sound by the trees. We shine our flashlight over in that direction and see a man in a white shirt dart behind a tree. This is girlscout camp so everyone there is either a girl or a woman (the leaders) there shouldn't have been any men in the campground we rented out. We went running to the nearest leader's tent as fast as we could and told her what happened. She told us we were mistaken and it must have just been an animal. Even though we both saw the same thing and knew it was a man that we saw. She told us we had overactive imaginations and to go back to our tent. Our tent was away from everyone else's so we were terrified. We huddled in the middle of our tent with a lantern my dad had given me for the whole night. Later after we got home from camping we found out that a man had attacked some campers at a campground near where we were camping that same weekend. I know it must have been the man we saw.
My brother and I were almost kidnapped. We were in the park and a man started talking to us and asking a lot of questions about us, he then asked us if we would help him carry some things to his car for him but I couldn't see that he had anything to carry. I smelt a rat and got my brother to run off with my shoes that I had taken off so I had a reason to run after him and get away. I described him to the police but because my brother got his description wrong they never caught him ? I still remember what he looked like to this day.
I've wrote about this on here before. I used to deliver pizzas years ago. I was robbed at knife point one night. It was a second floor apartment and the steps were on the outside of the building. As soon as I turned the corner at the top of the steps a man maced me in the face. It didn't burn at first, I thought I got hit with silly string or something. It took a few seconds to work and holy hell it was bad. I could hardly breathe because my sinuses and eyes were burning so bad. He told me to give him my money, I did. He told me to give him my phone, I did. He told me to give him my keys, I didn't. It wasn't the smartest choice, but I didn't want him to force me in the car with him. I threw my keys as hard as I could off the second story level. I screamed, he bolted with what little money I had. It this point, I can't see anything at all. A lady in an apartment or two over grabbed me and took me in. She was already on the phone with the cops before he even ran. She was forceful with me, but I needed it at the time since I was in pain and had so much adrenaline going through me. She poured milk all over my face and eyes, which did help some. Sat with me while the cops took the report. I refused treatment or to go to a hospital since it had been over an hour and there wasn't much an er could do for me. She insisted on driving me back to my store to turn in the paperwork. I took her number and she took my dads number at the time since I didn't have a phone. The next morning, she called because she found my keys, which I guess was like 50 yards away. I've never feared for my life like I did that night, but that lady will always hold a special place in my heart.
@melmango, woahhh i have goosebumps now
I was 6 and we were on our way to cali from Washington. It was winter, snow, all the good stuff lol
Anyway, us being super Mexican, we had a lot of people in the car, so me being the smallest I was in the passengers feet area... well I fell asleep so what I thought was a big ass turn, turned out to be us falling off the mountain. No one was badly injured just a few bumps and bruises but I remember I was so scared I wanted to poop but couldn't ??♀️?
My house burned down when I was 9. It happened on december 30/31st. I remember staying up late with my brother because we were still excited about our christmas gifts. My mom was upset that we weren't going to bed with her and when we finally did it was after 12am and our younger siblings were already sleeping. We had just layed down after 12am when we started hearing screaming so my mom got up to go check. It was a large apartment complex with 3floors, us being in the 2nd floor. She figured out the apartments were on fire so we quickly got out of bed. We tried leaving out the front door and the stairs were on fire. We ended up running out the back with shoes and no coat. I remember seeing the first floor on fire and men trying to put it out. The foor had huge bubbles with lots of fire. They sat us kids in the police car along with my friends from the first floor. One if my friends, a girl my age was missing. There dad went to get his other children an hour later without my friend. His hands had no skin on them and he was crying when he took his other children. My friend burned her neck because instead of running out she hid. Her mother got it worse though. She opened the front door just like my mother did except all of the fire went on her body. She burned her whole body and passed away a few months later after being in coma. Another two guys from the 3rd floor were unable to get out due to the smoke so they jumped out the window in front of everyone who was watching. They survived but one ended up in a wheelchair. We were the only ones to get out safe so it was a blessing but we did lose everything.
I was 13 and I woke up to a man climbing in my bedroom window. My house was pretty large and my parents were on the opposite side of the house.
Flash back to a few months before my friend jumped on my bed and broke a board under it. Now back to the story.
He was staring over me and it turns out my cat was under my bed and got spooked so she bolted out from under my bed and hit the board which made a huge bang over and over Bc it started spinning. The man ran into my house.
I ran out my window to my parents and started screaming for them to get out of the house.
They called the police .
The man was never found.
