Car Seat Class/Session
Has anyone ever attended a car seat class? Mine is later today and i was wondering what types of things they teach. If there is specific requirements (none are listed on the sign up website). I don't have my car at the moment, my dad's borrowing it until his is fixed which i'm fine with since i'm on bed rest. Do i need a car? Or is it just videos, watching an instructor and a test? Any help would be nice, Thank You in advance!

This is super late, but I didn't do the class. I just took it to the fire department and they basically went over the same stuff as they do in the class. They go through the manual and how to install it. Here, you can go to the fire department, do the class, then have the police department check your installation and get a free car seat from the dps office after you get all your paper work!

We ended up watching a video. I was quite upset over how little they explained. Thank heavens i already have a child and my dad is very strict about how I install carseats. I just went for the carseat and a refresher. Although I don't like the car seat at all.

No I never took a class ?. it's not hard to put in. I'm pretty sure you're smart enough.

@Steph they just updated a bunch of laws in mn so I thought they'd go over them. Didn't even really need the class, just expected more lol
