Failed sweep?
I was due on 24th Jan and I went for a sweep today but it was unsuccessful due to my cervix being too far back to reach! Did this happen to anyone else? If so did it still bring on some cramping and what does a far back cervix mean? I'm so over being pregnant and having SPD now and desperately want him out :( I've been scheduled an Induction on 5th February
They said mine are far back and I've always had an issue in getting checked. When I went in with my last baby they tried to say I was closed and the dr said no wait your at a 3. They had me ball my fist up and put them under my hips. But the further I progress in labor the easier the checks seem to get. At least that's how it been.
Mine won't try again until next Monday when I am 41+2 ! Ideally I would like him out before then
She made me put my hands under my hips also but still couldn't reach it. I've had a few cramps this evening and extremely increased baby movements lol! Hoping this is a good sign, I will try the birthing ball too though xx

so i got a membrane sweep today, & my midwife told me my cervix is “finger tip” meaning it’s too far up & not really down or soft enough & my due date is friday. any suggestions on how i can bring it lower?
💙💙💙👣👣👣💙💙💙 today is my due date!!!!!! I have had mild contractions but I'm still only 1cm so my doctor did a membrane sweep this morning to see if that helps any 🙏🙏 if not then I will be induced on July 1st 🙌🙌🎉🎉 any of you ladies have to be induced due to being past due and how was the experience.... also did a membrane sweep work for any of you??
@breathoffreshair that gives me so much more hope! I'm currently feeling like I'm getting nowhere, I think I have lost my mucus plug (looks like snot with a bit of brown sorry for TMI) however I am a FTM so I have never experienced anything like this before xx
