Yes..ive heard and have gotten yeast infections from taking antibiotics. Currently I'm experiencing vulva itching that may be a yeast inf.. I go tomorrow for an appt that ill ask her to check me for also
I bet it's a yeast infection on the skin. Sounds painful! Likely from the antibiotics. I would call every day to see if they have any cancellations! Try getting an appt with your OB or your PCP, either one should see you for that.
You can also use vaseline. I had a really bad yest infection after taking antibiotics and my lips got swollen and itchy so my mom told me to try Vaseline and honestly that work better then the yeast infection cream.
Yes you can put some coconut oil down there to help relieve some dryness. You could even use some diaper rash cream I'm sure you have around for baby. Could also do olive oil.
I wonder if you can rub coconut oil inside to help with the dryness? I know you can use Evening Primrose oil to stretch and soften your vagina in late third trimester, it's supposed to help with tearing. But I'm wondering coconut oil would be better for something like this? You could call your Dr and ask?
I bet that pill has everything to do with it. Wisdom teeth were pulled and took same pill I had same symptoms and had a yeast infection because of them!
