bump Could someone bump a post for what to pack in a diaper bag for baby for the hospital? Please and thank you

I brought a couple outfits. I brought my own newborn size diapers because my hospital only gave out size 1s and my baby was barely 7lbs. I brought my own wipes and also my own soap for first bath. They used Johnson and Johnson products only. Do a hospital tour and they should give you a list of everything they provide. I also brought my own nail clippers and file for baby. They didn't provide those at my hospital for "safety reasons" but their nails are so sharp when they're born.

Like PP mentioned most hospitals provide everything plus, well except carseat. but I'd bring things for your comfort & if you dont want baby using hospital items just bring your own recieving blankets, onesies, diapers, wipes, bottles etc.

The hospital I delivered at provided nearly everything for baby. All we needed was a going home outfit ...

Also, they didn't promote pacifiers so if you wanted to give one to baby right away you needed to bring one from home
