@ag1202 yeah. Idk if it varies by store or city or what. But ive only wver been able to exchange formula in the past when I had my son so idk really.

@amber really? I've never used formula so I didn't know, but I know where I live you can return food items

Wow this is sad. People stealing. A couple of months ago I ended with around 10 cans of formula and I'm breastfeeding. I have them away for free. They weren't WIC.
Well stores here close to where I libe wont let you return food items even formula. You can only exchange it.

Im glad you decided not to buy it. You'd be saving money but at the same time you don't know if its been tampered with. People are sick and just because it's sealed doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with it. It's also fishy how she has the receipt and instead of returning it for a refund she's choosing to sell it for less.

If she has her receipt why didn't she just return them to the store and get a full refund instead of selling them to someone for cheaper...?

I live in Upstate NY and get WIC. My son's formula was switched to Nutramigen but we had 3 cans of regular Enfamil left and was told in our state WIC cannot take back unopened cans. Instead I was given a list of women's shelters that I could donate it to. She also told me if I had a friend who could use it to donate to them. So basically I was told I could do anything with it but sell it.
Those are way to big to be WIC but they probably are stolen, I don't think you can turn it back into Wic if it was anyway. I was on WIC with my last son the Wic office doesn't give out formula you get it at the grocery store and you can't just return it

If it's leftover WIC then turn it back into the WIC office. So many mothers actually nurse their children and get the formula packages to SELL. FB Marketplace is flooded with WIC purchases. It's FRAUDULENT! Need money? Sell something else, but not your WIC.
I really want to still get the formula. But on the other hand the adress is not in a super great neighborhood, and because the other person is at work of have to wait until my son is with me after school and I'm just not going to risk safety for formula, so I have decided against it. I can always buy some other items used and just spend the money on formula I know is good and from a safe source. But it was still a good deal. But I'm also apart of a lot of other more reliable sources for deals on formula.

@ruger yes I forgot about that people steal formula ALL the time especially at target it's not locked up and doesn't make the alarm go off unless it has that security sticker on it.

Some people like to steal formula. I work retail nd this is a popular product that gets stolen.
Great deal .

Op that sounds like a great deal, I've bought milk before and haven't had problems of course I checked it.
10.08.2017 Нравится Ответить
WIc doesn't sell big cans but OP make sure you check for tampering

Big cans like that arent wic.
I see tons of woman on trading posts here in my town selling their wic formula. I report it. And its gone within a few minutes.
Oh and how do i know its wic? Because they will post literally 5+ cans at once! Just trying to look for a quick buck.

Well, because selling WIC is illegal. Point blank.
I'd definitely make sure the receipt matches if you're going through with it. Who knows if it was purchased online from an unknown source.

I don't think these are from wic, I was only allowed the small cans.
10.08.2017 Нравится Ответить
^ pp- because it's not their money, not their product to sell.
You can return unopened wic (in some states) and it can be given to families who actually need it. Ya know, the whole point of the program.
If they need additional resources there are more government assistance program
Eta: these are pretty big cans for wic tho! When I had wic we got the little cans

I'll be the bad guy .. who cares if it's left over WIC?
If the seller qualified for WIC then they probably struggle financially. If they have left over formula that was never used.. why can't they sell it and make a little money to go towards FOOD for their baby who no longer needs formula?
Not everyone in the world is bad. Some people need a little extra to get by. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it

The cans I bought from the girl were closed and sealed shut and that's great that she has prove but I will still double check the receipt and numbers from the can if they match .
Belinda1916 the lady said she had the receipt for them to orove her purchase. And the gold Enfamil seals are still intact. So I'm hoping those are good signs. But thats a good idea ill definitely take a can with me to compare, for sure!

I would be extra careful with purchasing that . Ask where they got them and make sure they're not fake and if you can compare them to the ones you already had to see if they're the same .
A girl was selling three cans of similac for $24 . I bought them and when I got home I just had a feeling that something seemed wrong so I compared those cans with the previous cans I already had . First everything looked identical and then when I switched the caps they did NOT fit in each others one was smaller than the other and on the labels where it has information from where it's shipped were spelled differently from the previous cans I had . Never again will I buy from them it just seems sketchy .

I don't think I could buy formula on a BST site... or from anywhere except a retailer if I had to.
If that's the case for them then yes that's probably not what they should be doing. However here,in Colorado, wic only pays for the small cans of formula so I dont believe thats the case. But good for me
