This is my second pregnancy getting the McKenna injections. With my last pregnancy everything turned out perfectly and stopped pre term labor for me. I'm only 26 wks right started at 16 this has been the easiest pregnancy by far. I've gotten use to the injections.
I don't think progesterone is bad I'm more concerned about the fact that I need it and I'm worried about still going into preterm labor and wanted to hear positive stories about the progesterone working for other women
Ur placenta just may not be producing the amount of progesterone needed which is y ur Dr wants to put u on it. There's nothing negative about progesterone. Every woman who goes through fertility treatments r put on progesterone n continue to have a healthy pregnancy.
My last pregnancy, my progesterone was really low. My Dr tried to have me double up on my dose of progesterone but I think it was too late n I ended up having a miscarriage.
I only just started the shots. My first was born at 36 weeks as well which is why they wanted me to take them. I've read that you can still have your babe early but, if I can do something to help make the possibility lower, why not? The midwife at my office got them and went to full term. I don't personally know anyone else who has, but ik a few users here got them.
I know why I need the progesterone. I'm not confused about that or anything. I just wanted to know that its worked for some women. I don't wanna lose this baby
I had to take progesterone suppositories in my 1trimester. My daughter was born at 38+5, and that was after a failed induction due to having gd. My doctor thinks that if we would have waited, she probably would have been born at 40 weeks
Wow! I would love to make it just a couple weeks further with this one than my last. My son is perfectly healthy but it was so scary being in labor at 36 weeks

No personal advice but I know many mothers who had to have the shots and their babies were born full term and healthy!

Y would u think progesterone is bad?
In order to have a healthy pregnancy ur placenta needs to produce progesterone.
I was on daily progesterone injections for 10 wks n have a very healthy rambunctious 3 yr old.

I was on the shot and still had him at 35 weeks. But everything was fine.
