My soon to be husband is wanting to enlist. But were trying to get our ducks in a row first. And im wondering, should we save up money? Does he get paid when he enlists, can he keep his current job for a little bit in the beginning of the process? What is the process?? Also, i have a son from my previous relationship and will have to petition to leave the state with him if we move, if hubby has to move due to this does that mean the state should let me move with my son without a big fight? Hes two. I just want understand better and hes so busy that its hard for me to ask him a million questions lol

Yes we are. We are planning a courthouse wedding. And we were planning on saving some but i didnt think we could save for months without his pay. So i was hoping he could still work until he ships off

Yes you should save money, he can work until he ships out ie he ships out Friday the usually keep them in a hotel Thursday night so he could work till that Wednesday. Your son moving I'm in the same situation you should save all the money he gets from basic you're going to need a lawyer if you know the father will fight it it won't be a guaranteed move. Good luck
