2 year olds and OB appointments.
2 year olds and OB appointments.
So my son has a drs appointment at 2:00 and my first OB appointment is today at 3:00. Usuall i wouldnt bring him to my appointments but i dont have much a choice today. If i made sure he was occupied in his stroller would it be an issue to have him with me? Will they still see me? They wanted to see me at 6 weeks since ive had a molar pregnancy in the past and i was really looking forward to the appointment

Haha, I bring my 18 month twins to all my appointments. I've never had a problem. Obs are totally used to it

I bring my kids all the time and they are almost 2 & 4. My dr is used to it. I think most are. She makes them glove balloons. Lol. But just bring something to keep him occupied. It'll be ok.

My OB is ok with kids coming along. I took my 20 month old once, never again. It was such a hassle trying to have my doc measure me and find HB when my daughter just wanted to sit with me only. She would not sit in the chair by herself and cried if I didn't hold her. She's usually pretty independent so it threw me off a bit. I don't think she liked the doctor touching me

My daughter is 2 and came to one of mine. Never again will I bring her if I can help it. She totally freaked out and screamed and cried because she thought they were hurting me. Not even her favorite show or game on my phone made her feel better. She just screamed fore the whole time.

Well i usually dont bring him just because he like to touch things? and it makes the appointment go by faster if im not stopping every ten seconds to stop him lol. He hasnt been with me to an appointment since was like 6 months. But it went ok. Wont be doing it again though. The office was so small so ds was in his stroller in front of me and the dr didnt move him before she did the vaginal ultrasound. ?So my son saw my bits. The dr seemed fine with it but i definately was not

Not pregnant yet but I refuse to bring my 2 year old to any doctor appointment lol. She's into everything and constantly wants to wonder ?. I'd feel more concerned with making sure she was okay then the unborn baby lol. But most obs are use to moms bringing children

My OB had toys for the kids in the exam rooms. I try not to bring my kids but if I do, I also bring iPads and snacks.

I have a new 3 year old as of her bday this last January. She has come to me to all of my OB appointments since August. And even before that she has been coming to my regular health care appointments too. She loves bossing me around and trying to take my blood pressure etc. I really think she'll be a doctor or something when she grows up. All of my providers love her and never mind when she is there.

I have taken both of my littles to my appointments. One is 3 and my other is 1. I just bring special toys and sometimes the portable dvd player for tge 3 year old if its going to be a longer appointment.
